What gender would you assume Linden Kerr is?

I’m pregnant with a little boy, and one of our top names for him is [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_u]Kerr[/name_u]/[name_m]Keir[/name_m]. I’ve noticed though that both [name_u]Linden[/name_u] and [name_u]Kerr[/name_u] are listed as unisex here, and with our girls having very obviously girl names, Im worried people will look at the name and assume he’s a girl.

So, what gender would you assume [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_u]Kerr[/name_u] would be? Is [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_m]Keir[/name_m] more masculine?

I would assume [name_u]Linden[/name_u] was a boy unless otherwise informed. I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], and [name_u]Linden[/name_u] are a marvelous sibset! [name_u]Linden[/name_u] is a very sweet name for a boy.

I have no real opinion on [name_u]Kerr[/name_u]/[name_m]Keir[/name_m] but they seem masculine enough to me. I prefer [name_m]Keir[/name_m].

I would say boy.

I would have definitely guessed boy

I would also assume boy until proven otherwise.

I would think of [name_u]Linden[/name_u] as a masculinized version of [name_f]Linda[/name_f]. (Which is likely wrong, but it’s really my first thought.)

So boy.

I would assume boy

The only [name_u]Linden[/name_u] I’ve ever met is female, so that’s where my mind goes. I also have a unisex name though, so maybe I’m not the best judge.

For [name_u]Linden[/name_u] alone I would say girl, with the middle [name_u]Kerr[/name_u] I would say boy.

I would say boy, especially with very feminine sister names. They sound great together!

Definitely a boy.

For sure boy

I would assume boy. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] sibset by the way!

You have a nature theme, so I would assume [name_u]Linden[/name_u] is male as long as his sisters have flower names. But if you were to have a girl with a tree name or other nature, it would become less clear, ie [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_u]Ash[/name_u], [name_u]River[/name_u], or [name_u]Skye[/name_u]. If you stick with tree names for boys and flowers for girls, the genders are pretty easy. In your sibset, I assume [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] would be your feminine choice over [name_u]Linden[/name_u].

Definitely boy. My only point of reference for [name_u]Linden[/name_u] would be the similar [name_m]Lyndon[/name_m] [B. [name_m]Johnson[/name_m]], so that could be why. I like it, though!

Boy. [name_m]Even[/name_m] just [name_u]Linden[/name_u] on its own feels more male than female to me (UK here).

I would assume [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_u]Kerr[/name_u] was a boy, but I would assume [name_u]Linden[/name_u] by itself was a girl (only because my only reference with it was as a female character).

I thought girl when I read the title, I know that’s not what you want to hear, sorry.

[name_m]Lyndon[/name_m] would make me steer more boy but I can understand why that spelling isn’t for everybody. I also think if his middle name was more obviously masculine I may have said it was a boys name.

I still think you should use it if its what you like. As someone mentioned above I think [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_m]Keir[/name_m] would be very handsome and 100% a boys name.

I would assume [name_u]Linden[/name_u] [name_u]Kerr[/name_u] was a girl but [name_m]Keir[/name_m] seems more masculine. I don’t know if that’s just because I’m from the UK though.

Boy. Especially with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] for sisters. Great sibset!
And I’d keep the [name_u]Kerr[/name_u] spelling.
