I am expecting my fourth child this [name_u]March[/name_u]/[name_f]April[/name_f] and he is going to be our 3rd son.
I have [name_m]Nathan[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] Katandra, and Arion [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].
[name_u]Ari[/name_u] will be 13 years older than this baby, and the rest much older.
So we’re stuck with names as I cannot pronounce anything with S/Z, nor words that ends with those and E/I/Y.
So far we’ve got [name_m]Gulliver[/name_m] (1st choice), [name_m]Joel[/name_m] (2nd choice), [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] as last choice. However my oldest son [name_u]Nat[/name_u] really wants [name_m]Dax[/name_m] (Daxos).
We’re leaning towards having [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] as middle name.
So at the moment I am ‘named out’, as I gave out over 100 names but were vetoed!
I really like the nickname [name_m]Dax[/name_m] to what about [name_m]Daxton[/name_m]? And [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] nn [name_m]Dex[/name_m] is very similar too. I really [name_m]Joel[/name_m] and [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] however personally don’t particularly like [name_m]Gulliver[/name_m] (sorry!!).
I’ve suggested [name_u]Dexter[/name_u], however he would rather going with [name_m]Daxton[/name_m] too. The problem is my name’s too similar to that
(Da… S T…ton) so not sure how that would wrap around… lol
Only if I am expecting another daughter - I have a good list of girl names!
From your list my favourites are [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_m]Joel[/name_m]. [name_m]Gulliver[/name_m] doesn’t feel as though it fits in as well but I’m sure that depends on where you live. I would suggest choosing a name that YOU love. Your son hopefully, will someday have his own child to name. [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] is a handsome name so maybe you would consider it as a first name? Other suggestions…
Personally I much prefer [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] to Dexos or Dexton (both of these seem a bit confusing to me). I know a little boy called [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] who gets called [name_m]Dex[/name_m], and he is the coolest little kid, so I love it! It’s cool but not too ‘try hard’ if you know what I mean. [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] sounds great to me.
[name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] is really nice too.
[name_m]Gulliver[/name_m] to me just makes me think of a kids fairytale… I’d never really considered it as a real name and I’m not sure if it works, but maybe that’d just because I’ve never heard it used. What would be the nickname?
Have you considered…
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m]
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]
[name_m]Duncan[/name_m]
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m] (probably won’t work with [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] as a middle name)
[name_u]Max[/name_u]
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m]
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u]
[name_m]Eamon[/name_m]
[name_u]Kieron[/name_u] ([name_m]Keir[/name_m] for short)
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] ([name_m]Raff[/name_m] for short)
I’m in quite a similar situation however this one will be my first boy 14 years after having my first girl almost 12 after the 2nd and almost 10 after the 3rd. haha you would’ve thought I would’ve came up with some awesome boy names throughout those times, but it’s been so long, and not having one that I stuck to it’s kind of hard to decide.
What about using [name_m]Dax[/name_m] as a middle? [name_m]Gulliver[/name_m] [name_m]Dax[/name_m] or [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] [name_m]Dax[/name_m] even.
Otherwise I kinda think [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Ewan[/name_m] works best.
