What, I actually like these matching twins names?

I don’t know why, but I’ve been thinking about twins lately. I think it’s because I realized that I have a pretty high chance of having fraternal twins, and I really hope I do. So I’ve always thought matching names were cheesy, and I still do, but I’m in love with this set:

[name]Lincoln[/name] and Lulette. [name]Link[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name]. So in love. I really enjoy saying them together, and I love the way they look together. I also love that they both have 7 letters and 4 letter nicknames. I think the sounds are different enough, no?

So, my plan is to have a girl next and name her [name]Beatrix[/name]. Then have twins! Haha! Then I’ll have [name]Dash[/name], [name]Trixie[/name], [name]Link[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name]. I know I can’t actually plan that, but hey, whatever. My s-i-l insists that you can choose what you’re going to have.

P.S. I know people on here don’t usually like Lulette (it’s pronounced loo-let), but it’s my great-grandmother’s name and I love it, so there you go!

Adorable! I hope it works out the way you plan it. =)

Thank you!

Ok, and, I really can’t believe I’m saying this, but I thought of [name]Clementine[/name] and [name]Cordelia[/name] as twins and I love it. Yikes! At-home nicknames would be [name]Minty[/name] and [name]Coco[/name], but those wouldn’t be for public use. I’m sure I will never use these, but I think they’re adorable.

I think these are really sweet! [name]Love[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] and [name]Cordelia[/name] - I also like [name]Cleo[/name] and [name]Dell[/name] as nicknames! I’m a twin, so my vote in favor of matching twin names is really saying something…

[name]Lincoln[/name] “[name]Link[/name]” and Lulette “[name]Lulu[/name]” are so cute together! Similar in many ways, yet different, I think. I also love how [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Link[/name] are words (also [name]Hart[/name]/heart and [name]Red[/name], if you’re still considering them). [name]Clementine[/name] “[name]Minty[/name]” and [name]Cordelia[/name] “[name]Coco[/name]” are great together, too.

You may also like [name]Cleo[/name], [name]Clea[/name], [name]Emme[/name], or [name]Emmy[/name] for [name]Clementine[/name] and [name]Cora[/name], [name]Cory[/name], [name]Delia[/name], or [name]Della[/name] for [name]Cordelia[/name] as public nicknames… You could get [name]Minty[/name] from [name]Araminta[/name], too…

They are sort of matchy, but not noticably so - and [name]Link[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name] are great nicknames. I think Lulette is brilliant - offbeat vintage. Your future children’s names are wonderful!

[name]Link[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name] are so sweet. I love Lulette and have never heard it mentioned here before, but it is a very interesting choice. A bit frilly for my personal taste but lovely nonetheless. My favorite matchy dream twin set would be [name]Percival[/name] and [name]Penelope[/name] nn [name]Perry[/name] and [name]Penny[/name]. I’d probably never use those two together but they are two of my favorite names!

Oh! I love [name]Lincoln[/name] and Lulette! I, for one, am a big Lulette fan. My great-grandma was a [name]Luella[/name], and I [name]LOVE[/name] the nn [name]Lulu[/name]. So I totally get the appeal. As for [name]Clementine[/name] and [name]Cordelia[/name], I like them both, but there’s something holding me back from loving them together. Perhaps its the [name]Minty[/name] and [name]Coco[/name] nns. It just makes me think of Mint Hot Chocolate (which is very good btw :P). However, with the [name]Della[/name]/[name]Delia[/name] and [name]Cleo[/name]/[name]Clea[/name] nns, I really like the set.

I love [name]Clementine[/name] and [name]Cordelia[/name]! Another possible nicknames: Teeny and [name]Cordy[/name].
For twins, I dig name themes, not necessarily matching names but themes, i.e.:
[name]Mabel[/name] and [name]Carys[/name] (love)
or
[name]Rosalie[/name] and [name]Liliana[/name] (floral)

I think [name]Lincoln[/name] and Lulette are cute together! I actually really like Lulette - it has this sweet country belle feel, which is adorable. I like [name]Luella[/name] too actually.
