Great! I’m glad that someone likes one of the names I have up here.
I second the suggestions of [name]Callie[/name], [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Niamh[/name] (totally sounds like you could pull this off but understand your pronunciation concerns). And I’m the odd one out but to me [name]Lavender[/name] seems perfect for you I picture an young, innocent-looking girl with a bow in her hair and cute long socks but who also has a slightly darker, edgier side. Exactly the kind of person who appreciates the elements and the nighttime.
Other suggestions:
[name]Avalon[/name] “[name]Valley[/name]”
[name]Alethea[/name]
[name]Electra[/name]
[name]Garnet[/name]
[name]Allegra[/name]
[name]Gwyneth[/name]
[name]Calista[/name] “[name]Callie[/name]”
[name]Fenella[/name]
[name]Lyra[/name]
[name]Delphia[/name]/[name]Delphi[/name]
[name]Ginevra[/name] “[name]Ginny[/name]”
[name]Layla[/name]/[name]Laila[/name]/[name]Leila[/name] (means night = awesome)
[name]Amaya[/name] (means night rain = double awesome)
[name]Frostine[/name]
[name]Melisande[/name]
[name]Demelza[/name]
[name]Morwenna[/name]
[name]Sabrina[/name]
Wow, sorry for such a long list! I had far too much fun with this - I’m another one who definitely relates to your description.
Out of your list, Serephina or [name]Elowen[/name]. Name that comes to mind is [name]Elsie[/name] or [name]Giuliana[/name].
Your post made me smile! You seem to really get me. I picture the same thing with [name]Lavender[/name]! I thought I was the only one. No one else really seemed to get that vibe from it. I’m going to reconsider [name]Niamh[/name] since two people feel like it might be okay! I don’t care for [name]Callie[/name] but I do like [name]Lily[/name]! If I did use [name]Lily[/name] it’d probably be [name]Liliana[/name] with the nickname [name]Lily[/name] though.
I really like [name]Avalon[/name] but I don’t know if it’s me. Plus it’s the name of a car(I always see commercials about it.). That kind of turns me off from it.
[name]Lyra[/name]'s really cute and I like it, but it feels a little… lacking.
Someone who used to be a big part of my life has a daughter named [name]Amaya[/name], and that might get a little weird if I were to run into them. I really like [name]Amaya[/name] though, and I love the meaning!
Thanks for all of the suggestions! I didn’t mind the long list. I’m glad you enjoyed my post! I was worried that peopole would see how weird I am and think I was crazy or something! lol
I like [name]Elowen[/name] best, but [name]Sora[/name] is a close second.
[name]Sora[/name] and [name]Lavender[/name] from your list.
To me though, you really sound like an [name]April[/name]. [name]April[/name] is the name I considered for myself at one point, and you and I share a lot of the same qualities listed.
Also, [name]April[/name] and [name]May[/name] is the time where it gets warmer, but the bugs haven’t come out much yet, so it fits some descriptors as well. I do like the idea of [name]May[/name] as well.
Other ideas I like:
[name]Sara[/name], no H.
[name]Lily[/name]
[name]Janine[/name]
[name]Danielle[/name]
[name]Kailey[/name]
[name]Gracie[/name]
[name]Katelyn[/name]
[name]Melody[/name]
[name]Alana[/name]
[name]Catherine[/name], not [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Evelyn[/name]
[name]Hallie[/name], not [name]Holly[/name]
[name]Isabelle[/name]
[name]Katrina[/name]
[name]Lynn[/name]
I actually think [name]Lavender[/name] suits this girl the best. It just seems so light and airy as you described her spirit. It shows her love for nature and her natural being and appearance it seems she may have. [name]Lavender[/name] [name]Emily[/name] and [name]Lavender[/name] [name]Aria[/name] sound amazing to me:) Good luck, and even if everyone says to go with a certain name, go with your gut…I know it’s hard, my baby is due in less than 10 weeks!
[name]Elowen[/name] or [name]Madeline[/name]
Thanks for the vote of confidence with [name]Lavender[/name]!
I was reading through the comments again, and I wanted to know what people thought of [name]Niamh[/name]? A couple of people suggested it and I like it. [name]Do[/name] you think it could be pulled off? What do you think about the pronounciation issues? (I’m from the U.S. if that changes anything.)
I think [name]Sarah[/name] or [name]Seraphina[/name] from your suggestions
I thought of [name]Alexandra[/name] initially but [name]Celeste[/name] also comes to mind! Of your suggestions, I would have gone with [name]Sora[/name].
