What Is My Naming Style?

Okay so first, I apologize that this is such a self-centered post, especially considering I’m not pregnant. But I was just thinking about how I can look at other peoples’ lists and describe their naming style, but I have no idea with my own. Based on my favorites (in my signature), what would y’all consider my style? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Alternative Classics? Most of the names listed are readily recognized, but not Traditional Classics (e.g. [name]Sarah[/name], [name]Mary[/name], [name]William[/name] and [name]James[/name]).

Romantic Classical/ Classic Romantic is how I would best describe it. Beautiful list btw, I love all your favorites so I think you have great taste

I see it as a mix of vintage and modern.

I see an Old Hollywood theme - [name]Audrey[/name] Hepburn, [name]Clara[/name] [name]Bow[/name], [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Wood[/name], [name]Diana[/name] Dors, [name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Gish[/name], and [name]Lily[/name] (actually [name]Lili[/name]) [name]Damita[/name], (though she may be more known for her marriage to [name]Errol[/name] [name]Flynn[/name]). Also a little bit of Glamor and Allure - [name]Princess[/name] [name]Diana[/name] was know for her style, [name]Bridget[/name] resembles [name]Brigitte[/name] [name]Bardot[/name] when mixed in with this group adding to it alluring, [name]Cosette[/name] has [name]Les[/name] Mis to give some glamor, [name]Genevieve[/name] has lots of spunk in addition to glamor. [name]Brooke[/name] Shields gives [name]Brooke[/name] some allure.

There’s also a little literary vibe here too with [name]Cosette[/name] ([name]Les[/name] Mis), [name]Madeline[/name] (the children’s story), [name]Juliet[/name] ([name]Romeo[/name] & [name]Juliet[/name]), [name]Penelope[/name] (The Odyssey) , [name]Annabelle[/name] (similar to [name]Annabel[/name] [name]Lee[/name], [name]Poe[/name]'s poem).

classic with a modern twist. Simple yet unique
