Thinking about the name [name]Max[/name] a lot today, but just [name]Max[/name] alone doesn’t seem to work; [name]Maxwell[/name], [name]Maximus[/name], [name]Maxfield[/name]? What do you think is the best? Our top middle name choices are: [name]Sebastian[/name], [name]Luciano[/name] and [name]Lorenzo[/name]. Would love to hear your thoughts.
[name]Maxton[/name]
Maxon
I like [name]Maximus[/name] and [name]Maxim[/name].
My husband is [name]Maksim[/name] or [name]Maxim[/name] which I think is much stronger than [name]Maxwell[/name] & not as ott as [name]Maximilian[/name] and more classic/less made up seeming than options like [name]Maxton[/name] or Maxfeld.
I really like [name]Maxfield[/name]. I think of [name]Maxfield[/name] [name]Parrish[/name], the painter… and I just love direct nature imagery in names. Having “field” inside a name is wonderful. A name is like a contained miniature world, and “field” gives the feeling of free ever-widening space. Together with [name]Luciano[/name], it’s dynamite! [name]Luciano[/name]- light. [name]Maxfield[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] makes me think of lying in a field full of late afternoon sun. Yet the name itself has strength and architecture.
Of the one’s you listed: [name]Maxfield[/name]. [name]Maxfield[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] is dreamy!!!
my personal favourite [name]Max[/name] name is [name]Maksim[/name] (and I’d still pair it with [name]Luciano[/name]!).
edit: Oh, [name]Emma[/name]!, I swear sometimes it feels like you’re in my head…
Teehee! [name]Ottilie[/name]. Sorry to hijack the thread here [name]Jesse[/name], but [name]Ottilie[/name] have you read “Overheard on a Salt-marsh” by [name]Harold[/name] [name]Monro[/name]? You must. I was looking at it again, contemplating the odd and swampy name [name]Marsh[/name], and I totally thought of your name-list. My granny and I used to recite it to each other. She was the goblin and I was the nymph.
I really like [name]Maximilian[/name] but would never dare to actually name someone that!
So, of the nameable options, I think [name]Maxwell[/name] is really cute
For anglo namers I think [name]Maxwell[/name] makes the best fit.
YES! My dad used to read that to me when I was little. [name]How[/name] funny!
sorry for this, [name]Jesse[/name]!
I really love [name]Maximus[/name]!
[name]Maxen[/name] or [name]Maksim[/name]
[name]Maxwell[/name] is my favourite.
There’s also [name]Maximilian[/name] which I like next.
[name]Don[/name]'t apologize [name]Ottilie[/name]! I’m going to the library today and picking up Overheard on a Salt-marsh! Sounds great!
[name]Maximilian[/name] is my ultimate favorite name for a boy ever! I know 3 of them under 5 and 1 [name]Maxwell[/name] though
[name]Maxfield[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] would be so handsome. I also like [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Lorenzo[/name]. To be completely honest, I’ve always thought that [name]Maximus[/name] sounded like a male stripper.
I like [name]Maxwell[/name] the best. Although I would just use [name]Max[/name], personally, but I know not everyone wants to. I’m a huge proponent of full names with nicknames, but just [name]Max[/name] seems to work so well to me.
I think the [name]Mac[/name]- names work really well for the nn [name]Max[/name], too–[name]Mackenzie[/name] nn [name]Max[/name] is my favorite, but I also like [name]McKinley[/name] nn [name]Max[/name], too.
My favorite is [name]Maximo[/name]. [name]Maximo[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]?
My niece just named her son [name]Maximus[/name], which strikes me as odd. They always call him [name]Max[/name]. I like [name]Maxim[/name].
[name]Maxen[/name] for sure!
