I love the nickname Phili. And [name]Pippa[/name] could work too.
But how do you spell it?
I think [name]Phillipa[/name] or [name]Philippa[/name] is the way to go as those are the most common. 
[name]Philippa[/name] is the original way, [name]Phillipa[/name] is a variant.
The only [name]Philippa[/name] I know spells it like that, and having the double P does make [name]Pippa[/name] more natural. I think that would be the way to go, especially if the [name]Philip[/name] you’re honouring is a [name]Philip[/name] with one L as well.
