Kita means [name]North[/name] in Japanese and it starts with a K so it fits them. Also I think they should have given her a middle name so I put in [name]Kanye[/name]'s mother’s name. Any other suggestions? And they don’t all have to start with a K!

My guesses for them were [name]Kassiopeia[/name], [name]Kalliope[/name], [name]Kalla[/name], [name]Kallista[/name], [name]Krishna[/name], [name]Karma[/name], ect.
I liked the suggestions of both [name]Kalliope[/name] and Klementine. However, I much prefer them with a “C” rather than the “K”… Had they named her [name]Kalliope[/name], they could have gone with the nickname [name]Klio[/name], opposed to [name]Kallie[/name] 
And I completely agree that they should have given the kid a middle name!
Part of me is hoping this is all a prank, and we will find out her real name later…
Has it been confirmed that there is no middle name or has it just not been released? I thought for sure they were going to choose a “K” name so I was wishing for [name]Kallista[/name] or [name]Karolina[/name]! [name]Kallista[/name] means “the most beautiful one,” and [name]Kim[/name] and [name]Kanye[/name] seem quite sure of themselves so I was betting on that. I really wanted [name]Karolina[/name] nickname “Karo,” so cute! As for the middle name, I’d do [name]Kallista[/name] [name]Georgia[/name] Donda [name]West[/name] and [name]Karolina[/name] [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name].
I’m with you Naviz, I hope it is a prank on the media. Although I think they’re better starting with C’s, I thought [name]Kadence[/name] and Klementine at least sounded pretty. Naming her [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name] with no middle name makes it seem just obvious that her name is intentionally a pun, a middle name could at least soften the sound. I thinking since no family has come out and said anything there is still a chance that it isn’t her name.
I know some think it’s too nickname-y but I think [name]Kizzie[/name] would have been really cute and unusual. [name]Kizzie[/name] Donda [name]West[/name] or how about [name]Kizzie[/name] [name]Nora[/name] [name]West[/name]? [name]Nora[/name] still combines their middle names ([name]Noel[/name] and [name]Omari[/name]) fairly well. I actually do like [name]Nori[/name] [name]West[/name], just wish it wasn’t a nn for [name]North[/name].
Anything other than [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name]. It would be just a bit better if they had given her a middle name. [name]Kim[/name] coil have at least put her last name as her middle name.
I actually liked the rumor of [name]Kaidence[/name] Donda [name]West[/name]. I also think [name]Georgia[/name] Donda [name]West[/name] would’ve been a good way to pay tribute to her dad and his mom.

My first name is a homophone to ‘rainy’, and my last name doesn’t clash at all with it. I still get jokes made and asked if my brother’s name is [name]Stormy[/name]. (No, I tell them, it’s [name]Cloudy[/name]. They actually believe me.) Good thing [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name] is a celebrity, or else the other kids will try to be funny/punny with her name. It will get so annoying she will run the other direction. Pun intended.
I saw an article on Yahoo! Shine earlier today (sorry, no link), that said the nickname [name]Nori[/name] was a play off of [name]Kanye[/name] and [name]Kim[/name]'s middle names, [name]Omari[/name] and [name]Noel[/name], respectively. If they wanted the nickname [name]Nori[/name], why not the [name]Eleanor[/name] branch of names or [name]Honora[/name]/[name]Annora[/name]? [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]West[/name] sounds like a professional name, one that would actually make me think her parents weren’t complete idiots.

It’s not my business, I know, but I do find the whole business of naming your child [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name] to be decidedly silly. I have similar feelings for [name]Blue[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Carter[/name], though [name]North[/name] [name]West[/name] takes the cake when it comes to ridiculous names.
YES! I’m so glad I’m not alone in this! And to all of the “It’s a boy name” noise…it’s a word name with some masculine associations…but to me it’s like Merit or [name]River[/name], it goes either way.
An early media release speculated the name was [name]Kenya[/name] - which is an anagram of [name]Kanye[/name]. Better than north but then they would have had an entire country ranting that their name had been stolen…
I didn’t think they should have a K name… and I don’t know why everyone thinks they would have gone for that! [name]Kourtney[/name] already bucked that trend, so there was no reason to think they would continue it.
I wouldn’t expect them to go for something vintage-y or particularly sophisticated, either. I did expect them to use [name]Kanye[/name]'s mother’s name as a middle, though.
