I like all sorts of names. There are some popular ones that I love ([name_f]Chloe[/name_f], [name_f]Amy[/name_f], [name_u]Aiden[/name_u], [name_m]Leo[/name_m]),and there are unusual ones as well as trendy and vintage names.
My style’s quite mixed over my whole list. For girls it’s mostly unusual or whimsical, quite a lot of vintage names, word names, literary and mythological choices. For boys it’s more skewed to vintage and literary, with quite a few international picks. I think my style(s) are more evident in my top 5 combos.
My naming style is all over the place! I try to stick to vintage names whilst giving them a modern/nature-themed twist, but my GP names have always been obscure Celtic and mythological names, as well as [name_m]OTT[/name_m] nature words.
My style is quite eclectic, I like both vintage and modern names, but with a few exceptions, I tend to like very unusual names.
My top five girls names would be:
Freyja, [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f], [name_f]Liv[/name_f], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f]
My too five boys names would be:
[name_m]Nash[/name_m], [name_u]Mars[/name_u], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], [name_m]Isidore[/name_m]
My style is quite varied. For girls I mostly like vintage ([name_f]Amabel[/name_f], [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]), [name_m]French[/name_m] ([name_f]Elodie[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f]) and word names ([name_f]Lune[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]) with some more unusual ones ([name_f]Thisbe[/name_f], [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]). For boys I think my style is a combination of vintage names ([name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]) and unusual names that are mostly from mythology ([name_u]Orion[/name_u], [name_m]Ptolemy[/name_m]). I have some popular/trendy names on my list but if I do then it’s probably because it’s an honour name ([name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]).
I find it actually impossible to pin down my naming style, there seems to be absolutely no pattern in length, culture, background, meaning or grouping. I love popular names and I love completely out there names. I mean my top five usually would be:
My style is soft, airy, ethereal, romantic, magical, heavy [name_m]French[/name_m] influence. I love nature names, soft names for boys, names that have an enchanting or adventurous quality about them. I also love names that sound international that I feel could work any many different countries and/or situations. I love many vintage names as well.
I love a lot of unisex names and surnames. For things more gendered, I tend to like mythological, wordy, made-up and overall pretty out-there. My top names are [name_m]Bravery[/name_m] and [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] for either gender. [name_f]Alcyone[/name_f], [name_f]Thisbe[/name_f] and [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] for girls and [name_u]Taliesin[/name_u] and Edymion for boys.
