Probably going with [name_m]Marshall[/name_m] or [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] but the name [name_m]Grant[/name_m] has come to mind in the past couple days.
I find [name_m]Grant[/name_m] so simple but strong and handsome. People usually use it for a middle name but I like it as a first name. But using it as a first name, I dont know what middle to pair with it. It needs something equally strong and handsome but I guess a little more modern, rugged and playful if that makes sense.
I came up with these but I dont know that I love any of them enough to have that ah-ha moment.
Grant [name_m]Marius[/name_m]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Hartley[/name_u]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Whittaker[/name_m]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Emery[/name_u]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Amory[/name_u]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Henley[/name_u]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Montgomery[/name_u]- love this but kinda lengthy
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] - i like this but I have an Uncle [name_m]Ted[/name_m] and wouldn’t want him to think it’s an honor name although nothing against him. I just cant possibly honor him over others like my late dad (my brother already used my dads name though for his son)
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] - [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] is a girls name but I don’t see why couldn’t be unisex. I really love it - means evening star. It sounds masculine to me.
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u]- nameberry says [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] is unisex! I prefer [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] but [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] is the same meaning.
This is all I could come up with. Would love other suggestions or input on anything I came up with. Probably not going to end up using [name_m]Grant[/name_m] but if I find the perfect middle name who knows. Exploring all options since nothing is set in stone yet!
I like [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Emery[/name_u] and [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Henley[/name_u]! [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] is a name I haven’t heard before and it sounds unisex to me!
My favorites are [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] or [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Emery[/name_u]! I have [name_u]Callum[/name_u] [name_m]Grant[/name_m] on my list but I think the name still flows as [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Callum[/name_u] too.
This is my partner’s name so I’m biased but I love [name_m]Grant[/name_m].
Perhaps you’d like [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Jasper[/name_u]? A bit more boyish than [name_f]Hesper[/name_f].
I also upvote all the following:
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Emery[/name_u] (wow )
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] (I love that [name_m]Grant[/name_m] is so masculine that it can be comfortably paired with these unisex names)
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] (possibly my favourite - I have [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Grant[/name_m] on my list)
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Finley[/name_u]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Marley[/name_u]
I had [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Grant[/name_m] on my list too! Husband vetoed [name_u]Elias[/name_u] but likes [name_u]Elliott[/name_u].
So [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] is a contender. So was [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u]. And here I go liking [name_m]Grant[/name_m] - apparently I like boy names ending in -t. (We decided [name_u]Wyatt[/name_u] has gotten really popular so I dont know that it’s still in our top choices. We like [name_m]Marshall[/name_m] also which refreshingly doesn’t end in a t!)
Grant [name_u]Emery[/name_u] seems like a good combination. I agree that [name_m]Grant[/name_m] is masculine and handsome enough to pair with a softer more unisex name.
I like [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m] also. I was thinking [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] too! I’m not huge into [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] but I do like [name_m]Casper[/name_m]. Maybe [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Casper[/name_m]?
I love [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_m]Grant[/name_m]! And [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m] is super handsome too. You can’t go wrong with any of your combinations!
I too am biased as I have a [name_m]Grant[/name_m]… but we get compliments on it all.the.time! I love this name!
Ours is [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]. [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is a family name… but I think longer middles work well with the strong/sturdy [name_m]Grant[/name_m]. Best wishes!
Edit to add - I love Grant Harrison from your list
I was also thinking about [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] earlier. Names that start with [name_m]Al[/name_m] are a thing in my husband’s family. He is [name_m]Alan[/name_m] and his dad [name_m]Albert[/name_m]. This actually goes together so well - or at least I think so. Any thoughts?
I really like [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] but that sure is a bright pink! I’m not sure I can win the battle at making it unisex. [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] is a favorite of mine!!
I love [name_m]Grant[/name_m]! So handsome. [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Whittaker[/name_m] and [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] are great!
I think we are adding [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] to the list. I’m super in love with the combo. I’ll try not to add any more because now we just need to decide.
Its possible to mix and match for these but I’m trying to save a second combo in case we have one more and it’s a boy also. I’ll let you all know what we decide and hopefully I dont just stuck again on any other names. I like [name_m]Dax[/name_m] also but sadly husband vetoed it!
Grant [name_u]Hartley[/name_u], [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_u]Montgomery[/name_u] and [name_m]Grant[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] are amazing names!!
