What name goes with Polichetti?!

I am having the hardest time figuring out a boy name that sounds really good with Polichetti (pronounced Pole-ah-chetti). My husband like’s his own name, [name]John[/name] (of course) but as I’ve been on the hunt, I can’t find anything that goes with that last name that sounds great. I would like a more unique name, but nothing too unique that they’ll have trouble with  Any ideas would GREATLY be appreciated!

Congrats!
I do think short but strong first name sounds best with your complex 4 syllable surname… I’d probably go with a maximum of 2 syllables.
I would also avoid names with strong ‘oh’ sounds (as in [name]Marco[/name]) or ‘ee’ sounds (as in [name]Rory[/name]) as will be too repetitious with Polichetti
Although in lots of cases I like alliteration, with your surname already a bit of a mouthful, I’d be crossing all P-names off your list.

Without any other info on what names styles you like, here are some suggestions:

[name]Troy[/name]
[name]Jack[/name]

Let me know if any of these appeal!

Slave Bracelets had some great suggestions. I have a friend with a very difficult Polish surname. She gave her boys traditional names and I think it goes very well. I really like [name]Jack[/name]!

Polichetti? With a longer syllable name, I’d consider balance things out by going with a shorter 1 or at most 2 syllable name. Under the List tab, you can see under Name Image for the list that’s under [name]Unique[/name] Names to help narrow things down. It may be best to communicate with your husband why he likes his name specifically. Why don’t you dust off those family trees to see what has worked in the past and also more importantly to honor your heritage?
