The most common alternative spelling is [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f], it’s also my preferred spelling
Betatrix which holy cow that’s so awesome, prefer it over [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
There are certain words I’ve recently become more open to using as middle names, including [name_m]Balsam[/name_m] and [name_m]Acre[/name_m].
I misheard a name and thought they said ‘Colben’, which I think is a cool name.
I just read a news article about a baby shark, and the shark’s name is Ispera. According to the article, Ispera means hope in Sardinian. Ispera is so beautiful, and would fit it so well with [name_f]Hespera[/name_f], [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], etc.
Georgian, “I don’t want you”
What an unfortunate meaning!
just [name_f]Kimber[/name_f], so much cuter than [name_u]Kimberly[/name_u] (imo)
Diotima and Druantia
[name_u]Fox[/name_u] ! I think it’s so sweet and sleek, and I’m a big X-Files nerd. (Along with [name_u]Ripley[/name_u] because I think sigourney weaver is super bad— in the Alien movies, but I feel that’s more of a middle name like [name_u]Scout[/name_u] which I really like.)
Iarfhlaith (EER-la) and its Anglicised form [name_m]Jarlath[/name_m] (JAHR-lath) – handsome Irish saint’s name meaning “lord”.
Some [name_m]Tatar[/name_m] gems
I knew a Marat in elementary school! I’ve never seen it mentioned before!
Thaney (variation of Teneu)
such beautiful names.
[name_f]Ffraid[/name_f] is a cool one I’ve just learned about!
