This is on my list since [name_f]May[/name_f] Discovered it since then and would use it for a daughter! I also like [name_f]Erendira[/name_f] which means “smiling”

Props to you for being brave enough to use it, I wish I was! [name_f]Erendira[/name_f] is on my list of names that I am considering at the moment, coincidentally! You have excellent taste, haha! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I do not feel so brave actually, [name_f]Erendira[/name_f] is very pronouncable in my language and country, Italian, it is read as it is written. Yes, it would be perceived as a Medieval name probably, or whatever, but it is going to be easily written and spelt.
Actually, in my context, [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] would be way more difficult than [name_f]Erendira[/name_f] to pronounce since [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] in no way follows Italian phonetics and has like three different pronounciations.

Honestly, even I do not know how to pronounce [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] eh-leh-ah-nor? eh-leh-nor? Who knows. And the eh-leh-nah pronounciation is confusing since the name [name_f]Elena[/name_f] here is pronounced in the same. exact. way. and it is waaay more used than the [name_f]English[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].

Oh, this is my bad! I fear there has been a misunderstanding, as I consider [name_f]Erendira[/name_f] to be completely usable, especially in your country! :slightly_smiling_face: I was referring to Potamiana, as I myself am not brave enough to use her, and was applauding you for considering the option.

I was referring to Erendira/Erelieva :sob:

Sorry, I got confused between the two names and Potamiana

Potemiana would be definitely too much even for me! And I do not like how it sounds, but it is great for you.

Oh dear! :joy: I see what happened here, haha! :slightly_smiling_face: No worries whatsoever! And thank you, she shall stay on the middles list for now. I agree that she is too much, even for me as well! :joy:

Thank you for reminding me of this thread! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Not technically a name per se, but I thought it was worth a mention! Roeselare (ROSE-e-LAR) is the name of a medieval town in Belgium, and I thought it was very pretty! Definitely going on my guilty pleasure list! :yellow_heart:

I just discovered [name_f]Zenaya[/name_f], as mentioned by @KT4. It’s absolutely striking a chord with me, as I’ve always loved [name_f]Zendaya[/name_f] but it feels too… [name_f]Zendaya[/name_f] for real life. [name_f]Zenaya[/name_f] is perfect. I’m a sucker for any [name_m]Zen[/name_m]- name basically.
