I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Simon[/name]! It’s one of our favorites. I chose [name]Simon[/name] [name]Luciano[/name]. Good luck.
I voted for [name]Simon[/name] [name]Lorenzo[/name] Altomari because it flows better than the other two.
The -on An- part of [name]Simon[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] and the -ano [name]Alto[/name]- part of [name]Simon[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] seem a little repetitive
I also love the almost sing-songy sound of [name]Simon[/name] [name]Lorenzo[/name] ^^
I think [name]Simon[/name] and [name]Jesse[/name] make wonderful names for brothers. I think two Biblical names before anything else to be honest
I love [name]Simon[/name] too! Whether your kid be nerdy or super popular, the name won’t matter, it’s all in the personality. I knew a popular [name]Fiona[/name]. I voted [name]Lorenzo[/name] cause it does flow better, but my second choice would’ve been [name]Luciano[/name]. Would you be calling him by his middle name?
No, I wouldn’t be calling him by his middle name, but I just adore the nickname [name]Lucky[/name]. I wanted to be able to use that once in a while and have it make some sort of sense. I know a nickname for [name]Luciano[/name] is [name]Lucky[/name], but can I get away with it if the middle is [name]Lorenzo[/name]?
Thanks so much for all the feedback, it really helps!
I happen to like boy names that can seem a bit nerdy. Does he say that because of [name]Simon[/name], from [name]Alvin[/name] and the Chipmunks? Still, not a bad reference, [name]IMO[/name].
I don’t see [name]Lucky[/name] being a nn for [name]Lorenzo[/name], just [name]Enzo[/name].
I was stuck between [name]Simon[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] and [name]Simon[/name] [name]Lorenzo[/name]. But I voted for [name]Simon[/name] [name]Luciano[/name].
[name]Do[/name] you mind your son sharing a name with a famous mobster? [name]Lucky[/name] [name]Luciano[/name]? I think it’s cool myself, but I can see how it would ruffle some feathers. Mobsters weren’t the most moral people, after all.
My husband’s brother is nicknamed [name]Lucky[/name], and believe it or not his name is [name]Jesse[/name]. [name]How[/name] funny.
Hmmm… I’m not a big fan of [name]Simon[/name]. It’s not a bad name, I’m just not into it.
I love [name]Lorenzo[/name] and [name]Luciano[/name] (especially when pronounced the Italian way!)
Nicknames don’t have to arise organically from the given name. I don’t think there is much of a logical connection between [name]Lorenzo[/name] and [name]Lucky[/name], definitely nothing like [name]Luciano[/name] and [name]Lucky[/name], but if you’d like to call him that, nothing would stop you!
I voted [name]Luciano[/name] because I think [name]Simon[/name] [name]Luciano[/name] sounds fantastic (I like the Ch sound in the middle), and I think it’s a slightly more interesting name with no hint of Snooki. But [name]Lorenzo[/name] is very dashing and would also pair well with [name]Valentino[/name].
The one I didn’t care for was [name]Anthony[/name]. I think a boy named [name]Simon[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] would be very jealous of a big brother named [name]Jesse[/name] [name]Valentino[/name]. [name]Antonio[/name] would make it a little more cool, but not as cool as [name]Luciano[/name] or [name]Lorenzo[/name].
I voted [name]Luciano[/name] because I think it sounds so romantic. I don’t find [name]Simon[/name] nerdy at all. [name]Lucky[/name] could be a nickname for both names although I think it sounds quite silly.
I couldn’t vote because I seriously dislike the name [name]Simon[/name]. [name]Jesse[/name] is adorable but to me [name]Simon[/name] is a middle aged man’s name and it wouldn’t go down well at all here in the UK.
[name]Lorenzo[/name] and [name]Luciano[/name] are much cooler.
[name]Simon[/name] is a fine name. It pairs up with [name]Jesse[/name] quite well. And with a choice of [name]Luciano[/name] or [name]Lorenzo[/name] as a MN it makes it particularly distinctive. I voted for [name]Luciano[/name], because that is one of the coolest names ever. But [name]Lorenzo[/name] would also be a really solid choice. [name]Anthony[/name] is a little too standard, and having a standard FN and MN makes the name seem a bit boring, especially compared with the awesomeness of your other two options
I just wanted to say thank all so much for responding to my post. We decided on [name]Simon[/name] [name]Luciano[/name]. So I then say to my husband, “I’m so happy that’s settled.” He says, “I’m not sure I’m settled.” Seriously?? The saga continues.
Congratulations on a very lovely decision. When does baby arrive?
