What Names Did You Actually Choose for Your Kids?

On this website, you see SO many really great names and I’m just wondering how many are actually used. I would [name]LOVE[/name] to see what you all have actually named your children! Everyone I know uses names that are overly popular. I know Braydons, Coles, Lanes, Paxtons, Aidens. I hope to see some different, cool names out there!

Is anyone out there?

My children are [name]Jack[/name] [name]Louis[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] [name]Bonnie[/name], mn’s are both family names. Mine are more classic than different.

I guess I should’ve been more clear, haha. I want to see what’s actually popular. None of the things I’ve seen in the top 100s seem to be popular anymore. I want to see the REAL new naming trends  that and all of you have terrific style. I really like [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] [name]Bonnie[/name] is beautiful. [name]Ive[/name] always liked [name]Bonnie[/name] and could never find something that goes with it, but [name]Claire[/name] works so well!

Also, I have a friend who’s due on [name]Christmas[/name] day also  but she’s having twins, so she’ll probably have them before then.

My daughter is [name]Geneva[/name] simone dunbar (last name).

I find [name]Adeline[/name], aria, arden, charlotte, caroline, bell names, margot, catherine, old lady names (ie beatrice, esther, agnes etc), stupid spelling variations, the cutsy ones (grace, lucy, ruby, olivia) are all very popular right now.

Can’t help you here, sorry! I have no children yet, and I can’t tell you which of my favorite names are likely to be used as I don’t have a husband or boyfriend yet to run them by! I can tell you that I’d happily use any of my Top Ten boys’ names (see my signature) for a son right now, except probably [name]Lewis[/name] [name]MacDonald[/name]. I chose that name for two of my favorite authors, C.S. [name]Lewis[/name] and [name]George[/name] [name]MacDonald[/name], and I’ve have to do some more serious thinking and probably get some advice before I honored even my favorite authors that way.
Girls’ names are harder for me, but I’d happily use any of my Top 5 girls’ names for a daughter right now.
Best wishes!

You should check out the birth announcements board  I don’t have kids but some recent ones from FB and such have been [name]Bryson[/name], [name]Alexus[/name], [name]Oceana[/name], [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Addison[/name] (hm, lots of girls lately)… those were within the last few months.
