I get a lot of ‘no’s’, but the big ones that he had more of a reaction to were [name]Hermione[/name] and [name]Lyra[/name]. In fact, [name]Arabella[/name] was my second choice for our daughter (thankfully, I at least got that, I had to fight for it). If I had it my way, [name]Arabella[/name] would actually be [name]Lyra[/name] [name]Hermione[/name].
Most of the names my husband has shot down were due to negative memories of someone with the name, like [name]Keagan[/name]. The only one otherwise has been [name]Gemma[/name], which I think is gorgeous but he says sounds like a “stripper name.”
He blitzed my entire boys name list. Thankfully we have one name that we both like. [name]ONE[/name].
My favourites that he hated were [name]Felix[/name], [name]Hugo[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Philippa[/name], [name]Gwyneth[/name], [name]Tabitha[/name]… sigh

My husband just slightly dislikes [name]Larkin[/name] for a boy and that is my ALL TIME [name]FAVORITE[/name] name. He also doesn’t like [name]Blair[/name] or [name]Morgan[/name] for a boy because he says they’re too feminine. I’m willing to pass on [name]Blair[/name] and [name]Morgan[/name] but I won’t lose [name]Larkin[/name] without a fight. For a boy he LOVES [name]Jacob[/name]. [name]JACOB[/name]! I could just never do it.
For a girl he HATES [name]Oona[/name]. I’m never gonna win on that one.
[name]Judah[/name], my fave boys name and would have been my sons name. But he actually made a disgusted face when i mentioned it. so sad. He nixed a lot of names but this is my fave. Another one I love he nixed was [name]Harvey[/name].
