Jerina - my friends name
Skandar- I saw it on film credits and I like it.
Annelies, the Dutch combination of [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Elisabeth[/name], yes, without the third ‘e’ at the end :). It was the full name of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name].
Marichelle
I was watching the [name]Isle[/name] of [name]Belle[/name] yesterday and one of the characters was named [name]Finnegan[/name]. And she was a girl! Please add [name]Finnegan[/name] for a girl as well :).
I know a girl named Kessel. I couldn’t find it on the site. I don’t know what it means, but I think it’s cute.
Also, I feel like [name]Henley[/name] and [name]Willoughby[/name] sound more like girl names to me for some reason.
Madelief
Kirrily
It’s not exactly popular here in Australia but it’s definitely been used here and there - I’ve come across at least four that I’m mutually friends with on facebook. It’s a legitimate name with Maori/Indigenous Australian roots and reading up on different websites, meanings I’ve come across include: tree bark; fire; dark lady sheltered from the rain; queen of leaves. There’s also celebrity fashion designer Kirrily [name]Johnston[/name] as namesake.
I know a girl called this, her parents were going to name her Maricelle (marry-sell) but added the h to make it easier to pronounce in English as they’re from somewhere like the Philippines, can’t remember exactly.

Alaska! (from Looking for Alaska)
Hillaria: as in Hillaria [name]Baldwin[/name] pronounced ee-lah-ria
:as a girl’s name is a variant of [name]Hilary[/name] (Latin), and the meaning of [name]Hilaria[/name] is “cheerful, happy”.
The baby name [name]Hilaria[/name] sounds like [name]Hilarie[/name], [name]Hillary[/name] and [name]Hilaire[/name]. Other similar baby names are Heladia, [name]Ilaria[/name] and [name]Valaria[/name].
Shumaila/Shumailah, an Urdu name.
Arynne, the name of one of my twin sister’s roommate at a summer college program
Avielle, which I think is a really cute variation of the name [name]Arielle[/name]
Tedi, a cute diminutive for [name]Theodora[/name] (a girl in my school uses this nickname)
Moumita, after my friend from Bangladesh
Sadaf, [name]Rohan[/name], Sandhiya, Saipriya, Nairuti, and Arindam, all [name]Indian[/name] friends of mine
I have a few more but I’m a bit tired now, so I’ll edit this post when they come to me.
I would like to see the name “Aristi”. I think it’s beautiful, but can’t find much information. I seems to be a Latin surname and a given name for girls in the Middle [name]East[/name]. Anything you can find would be helpful!
Jasher - b - the “book of Jasher” is an unknown book mentioned in the hebrew bible
Eluthere
[name]Victorine[/name]
Ellet
Evrik. It’s one of my all-time favorites and he is the protagonist in Alyssa Temple’s novel, “Elg”.
Derica. When I was younger I attempted to write a book and she was one of the main characters.
Aneira. A female name meaning “snow”. Not sure what language, though.
I have been thinking about this one. [name]One[/name] of my favorite boy names Francoise, there is no real information on here to click on. I’d love to know more about the name and its use, origin, and popularity. Another name I’m curious about is Flornell. I had a great aunt named Flornell and would like to know more about the name. Also, the name Atreyu from my favorite children’s film “The Never Ending [name]Story[/name]”. I’ve loved the name Atreyu since I was a kid and I beleive this name intrigued me enough to become a nameberry since age 5!
