Hello,

I just hopped onto Nameberry after several years hiatus because we are expecting #3. [name_m]Just[/name_m] wanted to point out that two literary favorites of mine are missing: Novalyne and Cormoran. Novalyne [name_m]Price[/name_m] [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] was a writer and teacher from my hometown who wrote a memoir about her relationship with [name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_u]Howard[/name_u], of [name_m]Conan[/name_m] the Barbarian fame. A subsequent movie was made about their relationship called The Whole Wide World with [name_f]Renee[/name_f] Zellwigger and [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] Donofrio. I always loved her name and it seems to be relevant with current trends. Cormoran Strike is the title character in J.K. rowling’s new detective series, and it has recently also been adapted into a television show. The name originally had mythological roots as well. It seems poised for a boost in popularity.

Minh, a vietnamese name. Many other Vietnamese names are missing as well.

Ollivander is another great literary name that is missing. Made famous by [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]'s wand-making family, the Ollivanders. However, it is an old British surname, so not totally made up. I think its poised to become mainstream, since it combines elements of the super popular [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], with a nice fantastical twist for the millenial parent in search for a more unique alternative.

I know someone named Janelia. It’s a pretty name, I looked it up on nameberry to find out more about it but it wasn’t here.

Aleca
[name_m]Alec[/name_m] is on nameberry, so why not his feminization? I know 2 [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]'s nicknamed Aleca

Magni

Magni is a name from Norse mythology meaning “mighty” or “strong”. In Norse mythology, it’s the name of a son of [name_m]Thor[/name_m] and the giant Járnsaxa.

Briseis (a Greek mythical queen), Heart (a word name), Czarina (feminine form of Czar), Czerina (feminine form of Czar), Czabrina (a name I made up which is a mix of [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] & Czarina), Hephaestus (Greek god of blacksmiths, metalworking, carpenters, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, metallurgy, fire, and volcanoes), [name_f]Moon[/name_f] (as a boy name), Relic (a word name), [name_f]Ceres[/name_f] (as a boy name), Qetsiyah (meaning cassia), Alekzander (a variation of [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]) Alekzandar (a variation of [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]), Ellamund (a name I made up which is a mix of [name_f]Ella[/name_f] & [name_m]Desmund[/name_m]), Ellamond (a name I made up which is a mix of [name_f]Ella[/name_f] & [name_m]Desmond[/name_m]), [name_f]Rozella[/name_f] (a name I made up which is a mix of Roze & [name_f]Ella[/name_f]), Rozae (a name I made up which could be a variation of [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f]), Roze (a variation of [name_f]Rose[/name_f]), and Birdy (a girl name meaning a bird).

I hope these are added to nameberry in the near future! <3
