Suggestions needed: Our last name is [name_f]Jewell[/name_f] so does that rule out all gemstone, flower, color, and some noun names?
I like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] but I don’t think they work with our last name. What do you think?
[name_f]My[/name_f] mom’s side of the family is [name_m]French[/name_m] so it would be great if the name could work in both English and [name_m]French[/name_m].
I like sweet and sassy names but I don’t want them to sound cheesy with our last name. Thoughts?
I see why your having trouble it is definitely a hard to find a good flow.
Here are my suggestions
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Colette[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmanuella[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangelina[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Angelica[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
[name_f]Belinda[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]
I think most word names probably won’t work with the surname [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]. A few flower names might work - I could imagine a [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f], for instance, because ‘daisy’ isn’t really ever an adjective - whereas [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f] could be ‘violet’ like the flower, or the color, so it sounds like a descriptive phrase. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], obviously, is a little too much. You like short, sweet, spunky names, but you don’t want the name to be too cheesy, so why not either 1) choose a short name that is NOT an adjective, or 2) choose a longer name with a spunky nickname.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites would be [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Jewell[/name_f] from the short list, and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] “[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]” [name_f]Jewell[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] “[name_f]Evie[/name_f]” [name_f]Jewell[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] “[name_f]Millie[/name_f]” [name_f]Jewell[/name_f] from the longer list; [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is my favorite overall. Good luck!
[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I agree with your thoughts about [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], & [name_f]Violet[/name_f] not working so well with [name_f]Jewell[/name_f]. To me, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] doesn’t flow as well with [name_f]Jewell[/name_f] for two reasons; the thought that comes to mind of a rose-colored jewel, & the fact that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is just one syllable. In my opinion, first names with two or three syllables will pair best with your surname. Maybe you could try one of the following…
I wish I could use [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] but my name is [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and that might be too close. So that rules out [name_f]Louise[/name_f], Eloise, and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] as well unfortunately. My favorite suggestions so far are:
