My brother and his girlfriend are starting to think of some baby names but they’re having a hard time coming up with a list on their own. I figured us name nerds could help them out!
They haven’t given me guidelines, but I’m sure he’ll want something more traditional, and definitely more masculine for boys. She’ll probably like something a little more unique, so it’ll be finding a balance between the two.
Here’s what I’ve come up with so far:
Boys -
[name_u]Asher[/name_u]
[name_m]David[/name_m]
[name_u]Denver[/name_u] - [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t know if they’ll like this but they met in [name_u]Denver[/name_u] so I thought I’d include it as an option
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u]
[name_m]Jack[/name_m]
[name_u]Julian[/name_u]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_m]Luke[/name_m]
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
Girls -
[name_u]Arya[/name_u] - he’s a big fan of GOT
[name_u]Blair[/name_u]
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f]
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_u]Lennon[/name_u]
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
My brother is really into rock music and action movies, so I imagine for a boy especially he’ll be open to something that nods to a famous musician or actor. His girlfriend is fashion forward, works in marketing, and has a unique spelling of [name_f]Erica[/name_f] which she really likes, so she’ll likely lean more towards options like [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] or [name_u]Lennon[/name_u]. I could definitely see them doing a unisex name for a girl (but nothing traditionally masculine like [name_u]Dylan[/name_u], [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] or [name_u]James[/name_u]).
Let me know what you all would add to the list! I can’t wait to see your options. TIA!
