[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite names tend to be long, frilly, and fancy but also with substance- what I call “dashing romantic hero” names for boys, and beautiful and elegant but strong on girls. The kind you can imagine on the main couple in a historical romance novel or movie. Most of them have a literary connection. Most of my favourite girls’ names end in A- which makes combo-making rather difficult! I like a lot of vintage-chic, old-man or old-lady names, but more for boys. I also really like classic and timeless names, though more for girls. I tend to like whimsical, quirky middles- including unusual word names. Popularity isn’t a huge deal to me; I’d prefer that my favourite names were unique and uncommon but even if they were top 10 I’m not sure that’d stop me from using them.
