If I were born in the 1940 or 50’s , I would have liked to have been named [name_f]Susan[/name_f] or [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]. For the 70’s or 80’s, I would say [name_f]Jessica[/name_f].
I would love to have been an [name_m]Albert[/name_m]

I would have loved to be named [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] middle name is [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and I briefly went by [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. I just love it
adelaide for girl and edmund for boy
Somebody told me I looked like a [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] once. Id have liked that. I also wouldve liked to be a [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]
I’d like to have been a [name_f]Lois[/name_f]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] a [name_f]Nell[/name_f].
In the 30s, [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or [name_u]George[/name_u].

Oooh, is this where I get to say I love the name [name_f]Wanda[/name_f]? Not quite my style, not quite a “fit,” but I love her! Maybe I’d be a [name_f]Wanda[/name_f]!
I’d love to be a [name_f]Betty[/name_f] from the 30s !
In the 1910’s, I would’ve loved to be a [name_f]Clara[/name_f] or an [name_f]Annie[/name_f]!

Oh gosh, I WAS born in the 70s!
[name_f]My[/name_f] mom and dad chose [name_f]Ginger[/name_f] [name_u]Clare[/name_u] for me and named my younger sister [name_f]Betsy[/name_f]. I think they did great for the 70s. [name_f]My[/name_f] name was certainly preferable to the handful of names that were repeated so often, although several had a great sound.
When I was growing up, maybe ten or twelve, I fancied [name_f]Shaina[/name_f], [name_f]Leah[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], or [name_u]Courtney[/name_u].
If I were born in 1900- [name_f]Clarissa[/name_f]
10s - [name_f]Magdalen[/name_f]
20s - [name_f]Beulah[/name_f] or [name_f]Maude[/name_f]

40s - [name_u]Hilary[/name_u] or [name_f]Margo[/name_f]
50s - [name_f]Darlene[/name_f]
60s - Too many Kimberlys but SO pretty. [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] or [name_f]Larae[/name_f]
80s - Ragan or [name_u]Paxton[/name_u]
I’d be happy to be a [name_f]Maryellen[/name_f] today.
Hmmmm I like this question and I think I have some general idea of common names for each decade based off pop culture and family members etc. But I don’t truly know the official list of popular names that were in fact popular so this is a bit of wild guessing.
