I’m back again to ask for your help! Last week your comments and suggestions really helped us in narrowing our list of possible first names to two: [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] and [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. Then we came across the name [name_u]Eli[/name_u]. We really like the name but wanted an objective opinion on how it flows with the family middle name [name_m]Robert[/name_m] and our last name Hicks. We are also curious how it stacks up to the other two names we love. Please let us know which name you like the best.
[name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] Hicks nn: [name_m]Ben[/name_m]
[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] Hicks nn: [name_u]Drew[/name_u]
[name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] Hicks no nn
[name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to comment or make suggestions. Thank you so much for your help! We really appreciate it!
Actually, [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] has the best flow of all, imo. I love it! [name_u]Eli[/name_u] is far less expected than the other two, so it definitely gets my vote!
Oh goodness! Both [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] and [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] are so handsome! I must say, I think I prefer [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] in general.
I still think Andrew nn Drew is the best choice all around! I like Eli Robert but not too sure about Eli Hicks. So for that reason even though I like Eli more Benjamin would be my second place vote.
Edited to add: Eli could always be the nn and could consider Elias, Elijah, Elliott or Eliezer run the first name spot. Think they all go with Hicks!
I love it! [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] Hicks has a great flow and I prefer [name_u]Eli[/name_u] to [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] and [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] tbh. If you wanted a longer version you could go for [name_u]Elias[/name_u] or [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] nn [name_u]Eli[/name_u].
Loving [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] and [name_u]Eli[/name_u]! Both sound fantastic with your surname, too.
[name_u]Eli[/name_u] feels a little more cool and uncommon, while [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] is a lovely solid classic that you just can’t go wrong with (I’d be tempted by nn [name_m]Benji[/name_m], myself )
So it depends on the vibe you want to go for. I think I’m leaning towards [name_u]Eli[/name_u] for its quirk-factor, but [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] is so versatile and classic.
I absolutely love [name_u]Eli[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] Hicks; it is an amazing name. [name_f]My[/name_f] runner-up (so to speak) would be [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] Hicks nn [name_u]Drew[/name_u]. Any name you choose will be amazing.
Eli [name_m]Robert[/name_m] and [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] are amazing names! I still prefer [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] as it is one of my favorite boy names, but [name_u]Eli[/name_u] is very handsome too.
I like all three for different reasons.
I hear [name_u]Eli[/name_u] and [name_m]Ben[/name_m] more often than I hear [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] nowadays, so based off popularity my vote remains with [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]!
Eli [name_m]Robert[/name_m] is my favorite of the three! They’re all great, but this flows so well. I do have a soft spot for the sounds in [name_u]Eli[/name_u] because I have a [name_u]Levi[/name_u].
I still love [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] Hicks.
That said, [name_u]Eli[/name_u] is lovely as well. I like the suggestion of [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] or [name_u]Elias[/name_u] with the nickname [name_u]Eli[/name_u].
