My name is [name]Elizabeth[/name], and while I like being called [name]Lizabeth[/name] there isn’t much different and it isn’t really shortened. [name]Eliza[/name] is the clear stand out for me, I think it’s sweet and girly. [name]Liz[/name]/[name]Lizzie[/name] are good for both a girly girl or tomboy, or [name]Beth[/name] which is short and sweet. I think whichever nickname you start with might not be that one that lasts, as she gets older she might prefer something else so do you like a lot of the nicknames available?
As for double names you could call her [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Rose[/name], which is adorable.
My favorite nn for [name]Elizabeth[/name] is [name]Betsy[/name] but I also like [name]Elise[/name], [name]Elsie[/name], [name]Ella[/name]/[name]Ellie[/name], [name]Libby[/name] and [name]Beth[/name] with your set.
I [name]Love[/name] the names of your children! So pretty!
I especially love [name]James[/name] [name]Monroe[/name]! Very handsome. And I love your choice of [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Rose[/name].
As for nicknames… I like [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Ella[/name], [name]Liza[/name], but also [name]Betsy[/name] and [name]Bessie[/name] But I would just shorten it to [name]Eliza[/name].
[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is lovely!! I think it will be hard to decide on the nn till you “get to know her.” Maybe she will just be “[name]Elizabeth[/name]” or “[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Rose[/name],” or maybe she will def be an [name]Eliza[/name] (my fav [name]Elizabeth[/name] nn, fyi), or [name]Ella[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. They’re all so very sweet.
I voted to keep her name full, I really think it’s a lovely name on its own with so much history and use that it is easy to say all 4 syllables-and personally I am not a fan of nicknames. If I were to choose a nn, I’d go with [name]Eliza[/name] (it reminds me of [name]Eliza[/name] Doolittle). I grew up with two Elizabeths who kept their names whole, and I much prefer it to any of the variations. [name]Lovely[/name] choice and good luck!
I picked [name]Zizi[/name], because in reality it’s the only actual nickname. The rest are just separate names, or shorten down versions of [name]Elizabeth[/name]. Plus a little [name]Zizi[/name] is just adorable. However, I do love the name [name]Ella[/name] and I think [name]Ella[/name] [name]Rose[/name] would be a beautiful name.
I chose [name]Ella[/name] [name]Rose[/name], but I also love [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. I actually really like double nick names, especially for girls. [name]Ella[/name]/[name]Ellie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is just too pretty not to use
I voted for [name]Eliza[/name], because I do find it a nickname to [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I really don’t understand the love [name]Ella[/name] [name]Rose[/name] because to me that would a whole name on it’s own and I’m sure that if people hear her being called [name]Ella[/name] [name]Rose[/name] they would assume that is her name, rather than [name]Elizabeth[/name]. [name]Eliza[/name]/[name]Liz[/name]/[name]Lizzie[/name]/[name]Zizi[/name] all are directly linked to the name [name]Elizabeth[/name].
I have a sister [name]Elizabeth[/name], and my mom called her [name]Beth[/name] when she was little but when she got older her friends started calling her [name]Liz[/name]. Now I can’t even picture her as [name]Elizabeth[/name]! I love the name though, it’s so beautiful and I would try to call her by her full name.
I voted for [name]Ella[/name], but I really like [name]Eliza[/name], too. I think you could honestly use all of these, though–if I ever have an [name]Isabelle[/name], I’m sure she’ll be [name]Bella[/name], [name]Belle[/name], [name]Ella[/name], [name]Elle[/name], [name]Izzy[/name], [name]Abby[/name], [name]Isa[/name], [name]Isabelle[/name], etc., haha.
I like [name]Zizi[/name]! I have a cousin [name]Elizabeth[/name] who nicknamed herself Ebie as a toddler & it’s stuck with her through highschool. I think it’s supercute. Goodluck!
I voted for [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Rose[/name], but that and [name]Ella[/name] [name]Rose[/name] are my favorites. All your kids’ names are great, and they fit together without being too matchy. Kudos!
I love [name]Zizi[/name] too! It sounds like something my 1 year old and 3 year old would come up with to call her because they can’t really say “[name]Elizabeth[/name].” Maybe that would be a good option as a family nickname? I’m not sure if it works as a nickname for school, etc…does it?
