[name]Mikayla[/name] and [name]Mikita[/name] for twins? They’re too matchy in sound and way too cutesy together.

FYI - [name]Stan[/name] [name]Mikita[/name] was a Chicago [name]Black[/name] [name]Hawk[/name] hockey player. His real name was [name]Stanislav[/name] and his surname is Slovak.

Why change the N to an M? Makita is a brand of power tool so that’s all I can think of.

[name]Mikayla[/name] and [name]Mikita[/name]? [name]Way[/name] too matchy… plus if you plan on having more children, what are you going to name them?

If you want it to be like [name]Nikita[/name] it has to be spelled [name]Nikita[/name]. But I agree it’s too close to [name]Mikayla[/name] for twins.
Why not stay with [name]Nikita[/name] and [name]Mikayla[/name]? They are still incredibly close but at least there is more distinction between the two.

Some people really like matching names for twins, but I do not fall under that category. I also have a growing dislike of the name [name]Mikayla[/name], and its variant spellings as it is trending really hard right now (I know so many Mikaylas).

With that said, I think [name]Nikita[/name] would be the way to go.

We’re remodeling our house, and we’re relying a lot on our Makita drills, but I still don’t think it’s suitable as a girl’s name.

[name]IMO[/name], like some other posters said, I think [name]Mikita[/name] and [name]Mikayla[/name] are to matchy-matchy. Why not [name]Malia[/name] (as in [name]Obama[/name]) [name]Melody[/name], [name]Marissa[/name]… I used M names for suggestions because you wanted to use 2 M names before so I figured maybe you liked them…

I only voted for [name]Mikita[/name] because if you are absolutely going to use that name it should be at least as close to [name]Nikita[/name] as possible.

[name]Mikita[/name] is really horrible though, sorry. [name]Just[/name] stick with [name]Nikita[/name]. [name]Mikita[/name] reminds me of a cross between [name]McDonald[/name]'s and a Cheetah.

[name]Mikayla[/name] and [name]Mikita[/name] or even [name]Mikayla[/name] and [name]Nikita[/name] are too matchy-matchy.
