[name_m]Hi[/name_m] guys, [name_f]Lily[/name_f] here!
I definitely don’t come around to the [name_m]Boy[/name_m] Names side of the forum too often, as I’m generally more focused on looking into girls names. Lately however, there’s just one boy name I can’t get out of my head: [name_u]Daniel[/name_u].
I think it’s just wonderful: kind, handsome, strong, looks and sounds nice, and has the adorable nickname [name_u]Danny[/name_u]. I also love the association with the Biblical [name_u]Daniel[/name_u]. I just can’t work out the vibes / imagery, as this is a lot harder to do with boys names for me.
So, what vibes / imagery do you guys specifically get off [name_u]Daniel[/name_u]?

[name_f]My[/name_f] first association with a [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] is really bad so it totally ruined the name for me. Putting from my issues with [name_u]Daniel[/name_u], I see a handsome, intelligent and sophisticated Victorian man. It also reminds me of [name_m]Victor[/name_m] from the corpse bride.

I adore [name_u]Daniel[/name_u]!
[name_m]Easy[/name_m] to spell familiar but not trending or tired to strong to a generation, international, long history with no major famous bad associations, [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] is friendly and approachable and feels both casual and formal enough for any occasion.
I think it ages well and would suit a variety of personalities. I think it feels intelligent and classic
Would make my list of the male equivalent of little black dress names.

It’s my brother’s name and I think it’s a very solid and masculine name. It’s traditional so probably won’t ever go out of style. I usually shorten it to [name_m]Dan[/name_m] or [name_u]Danny[/name_u].
I definitely associate it with the Biblical [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] which I think is a good thing

love seeing another [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] lover!! he’s my favorite name, for [name_m]Dan[/name_m] [name_m]Kean[/name_m] in [name_m]Little[/name_m] Men if you’ve ever read it 
To me, [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] is rugged and outdoorsy, but also very sweet. Like the kind of boy who loves camping and cuddles, in a nutshell! Adventurous and kind xx

I love [name_u]Daniel[/name_u]! It feels warm and has a gentle strength to it. Nickname [name_u]Danny[/name_u] is sweet, friendly, and approachable. It has similar vibes to Nathaniel/Nate to me. It’s not my style for a first name but I love it as a middle name.

[name_u]Daniel[/name_u] gives me sort of soft but strong vibes, maybe a bit of green imagery - I will be honest, it’s a tiny bit of a ‘blank slate’ name for me, in that it could have any kind of vibes, depending on person/combo etc.

i love daniel but could never use it because its my boyfriends name (maybe that’s why i love it hehe) but because of him my association of the name is very handsome, masculine but still gentle and i picture dark hair, i think it is a very nice name, classic but not boring.

[name_f]My[/name_f] first association with [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] was [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_u]Jackson[/name_u] on [name_f]Star[/name_f] Gate. I watched it with my dad as a teen and had a major crush on [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] [name_u]Jackson[/name_u]. He wore glasses and was a total nerd, but he was kind and also not at all afraid to stand up for what was right. And later in the show he kind of “blossomed” with some lovely muscles, but not too much. lol So anyway, I picture a strong, kind, studious, nerdy guy because of that character and I adore the name [name_u]Daniel[/name_u]. I wish it were less common. If it were it would probably be at the top of my own list.

I think it was this thread that caused me to dream we named our baby [name_u]Daniel[/name_u] 
It’s a great name–handsome, solid, soft but strong. [name_u]Wonderful[/name_u] Biblical namesake. The only little problem is that I’m pretty sure I know more [name_m]Daniels[/name_m], Dans, Dannys, than any other name I can think of. So I’m not actually planning to use it

[name_u]Daniel[/name_u] is a classic and lovely name. I imagine a handsome young man who is as gentle as he is strong. I have always had a thing for [name_u]Daniel[/name_u].

I love [name_u]Daniel[/name_u]! I don’t tend to get very strong names for my favorite names (including Daniel) because I like the idea that they can suit many different people. I can’t give very specific vibes, I’m afraid! However, I’ve known [name_m]Daniels[/name_m] that are quiet and hard-working, friendly and bold, artistic and individualistic, so a lot of different vibes! If I had to choose, I would call it warm, grounded, and understated.
