I just learned the word adagio and that it is a musical term. Me being a name nerd thought it would be so pretty as a feminine name Adagia. That would be a cute musical inspired name (not directly the actual word, just inspired by the sound of the word and that it’s also musical name)for a blossoming little girl, and you could use the NN Gia.
But I need to see what vibes it actually gets because I’m having mixed feelings about it but at the same time it’s so pretty :heart_eyes_cat::scream_cat:

Also any middle name suggestions for this?

I’m familiar with the musical term adagio so I would pronounce Adagia the same - ah-DAHJ-ee-uh

It feels very romantic - orchestral music, flowy dresses, dancing alone in a ballroom, candlelight, roses. I think that it is close-ish to some like [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] or [name_f]Giovanna[/name_f] that it sounds less “made up,” plus the musical connection would stand out to people who are into the classics or have taken band/orchestra/choir.

Adagia is intriguing - musical, gentle and made up of familiar sounds. It reminds me of names like [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], Agniya, [name_f]Adelia[/name_f], [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f], [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] etc.

I’d say it as Ah-DAHJ-ee-uh. It’s a pretty sweet idea, and cool if music means a lot to you.
