[name_f]My[/name_f] dad wanted to name me [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] but my mom thought it was weird. She liked [name_f]Emma[/name_f] but my dad said it was getting too popular. Ironically [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is now pretty popular, too.

I was very nearly a Kate, and my parents also considered Maria and Daria. They found out the sex as early as possible and didn’t discuss names until after, so I have no idea what I would have been called if I were amab!
When I changed my name as a teenager, I considered Maria, Catherine, Claude, Sonia, and Margarita.
