What would be the perfect sibset in this case?

I’m not currently pregnant, but definitely hoping to have another baby at some point in the future. I already have a gorgeous son. His name is [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], but we literally only call him [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. So I suppose he has a formal long name that he could use in the future, but we certainly prefer his quirkier short name. It suits him well.

But. For the life of me, I cannot think of a single girl name I would pair it with. I won’t give you a whole bunch of other information about my own likes and dislikes, as I just kind of wanted to see what you yourself, lovely nameberries, would call a sibling to [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] kind of after a personal gut-reaction. Maybe this way I’ll inadvertently stumble upon the “perfect” name.

i would name her madeleine august or esme willow

I think I’d go with [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] or [name_f]Frederica[/name_f] “Fritzi” [name_f]Sophie[/name_f].

I love both of those middle names. They definitely have the same feel that [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] does. Kind of nature-y.

[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] ‘Kit’ is lovely! I’d call his sibling [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] ‘Rose’ or [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_u]Fern[/name_u] ‘Belle’

[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] ‘Kit’ and…

[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u] ‘Tilly’
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]River[/name_u] ‘Nell’
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] ‘Della’ ‘Ada’
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] ‘Bo’ ‘Trixie’ ‘Bea’
[name_u]Fern[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] ‘Tabby’ ‘Tibby’
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f] [name_u]Forest[/name_u]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] ‘Leni’
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] ‘Romy’

Gut reactions:

If I wanted allterative, I would go with something that can be shortened to “Kiki” because, for me, it’s different enough with the two syllables (unlike Kate) that it still belongs with [name_u]Kit[/name_u] while still being its own thing.

Example: [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] “Kiki” so “Kit & Kiki”

[name_f]Non[/name_f] alliterative:

[name_f]Gianna[/name_f] “Gia” “Kit + Gia”
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] “Doro or Thea” “Kit + [name_f]Doro[/name_f] , [name_u]Kit[/name_u] +Thea”
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] “Ana or Sazzi or [name_f]Staci[/name_f] or Tasia” [name_u]Kit[/name_u] + [name_f]Ana[/name_f] , Kit+ Sazzi , [name_u]Kit[/name_u] + [name_f]Staci[/name_f], Kit+ Tasia"

And so forth.

I haven’t read any of the replies because I didn’t want my intuition to be influenced, so sorry for any repeats! I’m putting nicknames in brackets where appropriate in case you’d like it to be a theme. I love [name_u]Kit[/name_u] btw.

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] (Bea, Bee)
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (Charlie, Lottie)
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] (Thea, [name_u]Rory[/name_u], Rue)
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (Nell)
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] (Em, Emmy)
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] (Frankie, Cece)
[name_u]Florence[/name_u] (Lori, Ren)
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] or [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] (Gwen)
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (Evi, Vivi)
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] (Finn, Jo)
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] (Tilly)
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] (Fae)

[name_u]Nature[/name_u] middle names would be great to suit [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]! [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], [name_u]Willow[/name_u], Iris…

[name_f]Eva[/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought was [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_u]Jules[/name_u]!

[name_u]June[/name_u] was what came to me first!

Also…
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] “Greta” or “Meg” or “Daisy” or “Margot”
[name_f]Helen[/name_f] or [name_f]Helena[/name_f] “Nell” or “Lenny”
[name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] “Willa”
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] “Jo” (Kit and Jo!? :star_struck:)
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] “Elle”
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] or [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] or [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] “Teddy” or “Thea”
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] “Rolly”
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f] “Marnie”
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] “Annie” or “Belle”
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] “Bess”
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] “Fifi”
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] “Mal” or “Lena” or “Lenny”
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] “Ginny”

And for middles, I think [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] would be not only a great stylistic match but a sweet choice to pair with first names like these.

Also…
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] or [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Birdie[/name_f]
[name_f]Spring[/name_f]
[name_f]Plum[/name_f]
[name_m]Orchard[/name_m] or [name_f]Orchid[/name_f]
[name_f]Fleur[/name_f] or [name_f]Flower[/name_f] or [name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_u]Cypress[/name_u]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_f]Apple[/name_f]
[name_f]Bee[/name_f]
[name_u]Gardner[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_u]Sky[/name_u]
[name_m]Redwood[/name_m]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]

[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] “Kit” [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and
