What would Lucy and Alice's little brother be named?

We’re having number three this summer and its going to be a boy! We’re so excitied!

We have [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Jayne[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. We’ve been hanging on the name [name]George[/name] but it just doesn’t seem right.

[name]Lucy[/name], [name]Alice[/name], and…

Any suggestions?

[name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] are so sweet! I think [name]George[/name] works really well with them. My first idea was [name]Henry[/name]… what about:

[name]Jack[/name]
[name]John[/name]
[name]Calvin[/name]
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]Owen[/name]
[name]Finn[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Linus[/name]
[name]Silas[/name]

Good luck!

My first thought was also [name]Henry[/name]! But it does have the same ending as [name]Lucy[/name]. I like the suggestions of [name]Jack[/name], [name]John[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], and [name]Charles[/name]. I also like [name]Peter[/name], and I think it would fit in well. Congratulations on your boy!

I first thought [name]Samuel[/name] ([name]Sam[/name]) and also [name]Leo[/name].

Congratulations on your little boy - enjoy naming him

I actually really like [name]George[/name] with [name]Alice[/name] & [name]Lucy[/name]. Other ideas:

[name]Avery[/name]
[name]Bertram[/name]
[name]Clarence[/name]
[name]David[/name]
[name]Elias[/name]
[name]Francis[/name]
[name]Graham[/name]
[name]Harold[/name]
[name]Henry[/name]
[name]Ivan[/name]
[name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Lawrence[/name]
[name]Martin[/name]
[name]Noel[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Phineas[/name]
[name]Ralph[/name]
[name]Spencer[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Victor[/name]
[name]William[/name]

[name]Lucy[/name], [name]Alice[/name] and [name]James[/name].

I think [name]Samuel[/name] is the perfect name for him! [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Alice[/name], and [name]Samuel[/name]

[name]George[/name] sounds like a right name.

Ideas:

  • [name]Henry[/name]
  • [name]Oliver[/name]
  • [name]William[/name]
  • [name]Thomas[/name]
  • [name]James[/name]
  • [name]Leo[/name]
  • [name]Edward[/name]
  • [name]Frederick[/name]
  • [name]Theodore[/name]
  • [name]John[/name]

Thank you all for your suggestions, we love [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]James[/name] but they are already used inthe family. We really like [name]Peter[/name] and [name]Henry[/name]. Our last name starts with a P and is pretty similar to [name]Peter[/name]…bad memories for DH of elementary school. LOL. And my [name]MIL[/name]'s name starts with an H, she calls herself HP…we ARE NOT naming our child anything she might remotely think is named after her. Sad, but true. LOL

So we keep going back to [name]George[/name], it sounds great with [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]. But by itself, it sounds awkward to us, kind of like we are forcing it. But honestly, [name]Alice[/name] did too for awhile.

[name]Lucy[/name] thinks we should name him [name]Stuart[/name] after [name]Stuart[/name] [name]Little[/name] but I can’t get over the Stewie character on Family [name]Guy[/name]…you know the baby who’s always plotting to kill his mother. Lol. We even seriously considered [name]Roger[/name] for awhile. Right now, we are thinking about [name]Walt[/name]…not [name]Walter[/name] unless it flows better with a middle name.

Any suggestions for a mn for [name]Walt[/name]?

[name]Walt[/name] [name]Edmund[/name]? I actually came into the thread to suggest [name]Edmund[/name] as a first, it’s got the same classic feel as [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] without being as popular as [name]William[/name] (or [name]James[/name], which I thought of too).

[name]Walt[/name] [name]Henry[/name]? [name]Henry[/name] is sort of a gold-standard favourite of mine even if it is a little bit popular.

[name]Walter[/name] [name]Joel[/name]

[name]Walt[/name] [name]Jonathan[/name]

[name]Walt[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Walt[/name] [name]Stewart[/name]
[name]Walt[/name] [name]Jacob[/name]

A few others-

[name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Jonah[/name]
[name]Crispin[/name]
[name]Oscar[/name]
[name]Charles[/name]

I love [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]

I think [name]Lucy[/name] is on to something! [name]Stuart[/name] is such a cute sib-set with [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]. Although I’m aware of the character Stewie, the association doesn’t come up at all when I hear [name]Stuart[/name], especially with such cute names for your daughters. [name]Stuart[/name] [name]Henry[/name] or [name]Stuart[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] are such nice names!

[name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] are two of my favourite girl names  I’d go with something really classic. [name]How[/name] about:

[name]William[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name]
[name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]James[/name]
[name]Patrick[/name]
[name]Edward[/name]
[name]Eli[/name]
[name]George[/name]
[name]Michael[/name]
[name]Ian[/name]
[name]Graeme[/name]

I love [name]George[/name] with [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]!

OK so a new suggestion popped into my mind… (and no J or H)

[name]Lucy[/name], [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Thomas[/name] nn [name]Tom[/name]

emiliaj

[name]George[/name] works really well!
My initial thought was [name]Charles[/name] / [name]Charlie[/name] which others have mentioned already x

[name]James[/name] or [name]Henry[/name] immediatley pop into my mind as a brother to [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Alice[/name].

[name]Edmond[/name] is a charming choice but sounds like the [name]Lion[/name] the Which and the Wardrobe to me. Not necessarily a deal breaker.

[name]Lucy[/name], [name]Alice[/name] & [name]Simon[/name]!

[name]Stuart[/name] does sound nice. I think it’s fun when older siblings help name the baby. You wouldn’t have to use the nn “Stewie” though.

Also love the name [name]Henry[/name].

If you’re going with [name]Walter[/name], I like [name]James[/name] with it.

 [name]Cris[/name]

[name]Lucy[/name], [name]Alice[/name] and [name]George[/name] is a near-perfect fit [name]IMO[/name]. [name]Walt[/name] is more intriquing, though. [name]Edmund[/name], specifically [name]Ned[/name], is great too.
