What would you add to our list for baby #4?

First and/or middle name suggestions? Nothing in the top 1000 please, none of our other kids were when they were born either.

The names on your list feel a bit heavier stylistically than your children’s names, so I’ll give some of both.

Suggestions:

I think [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] fits best with her sibs. Maybe [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] ottoline

Especially compatible with your sibset:

Firsts: [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f], [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], [name_f]Romilly[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]

Middles: [name_f]Cambrey[/name_f], [name_u]Grey[/name_u]

I think [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] is the best fit: [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]. Cute.

[name_f]Thea[/name_f] or [name_f]Mira[/name_f] would sound nice with your children’s names.

Loving:

[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] (certainly I’m not biased!)
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] - She’s one of my absolute favorites!
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] - One of my GP’s

I really love many of your middle name choices, too. Here are a few of my favorite combos:

[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Cambrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Marnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]

[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] (OK… so I’m SUPER biased here. My surname is [name_u]Gray[/name_u] - I naturally adore the sound of this)
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_m]Henley[/name_m]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Cambry[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Marnie[/name_f]

[name_f]Marnie[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f] [name_u]True[/name_u] (dropping the ly, because of the double -ie ending!)
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f] [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]

[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] (Again, super crushing on this since I’ve imagined it 1000 times!)
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_u]True[/name_u]
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f]
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]

Another vote for [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] and [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]! My favorite second for [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] is [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] fits the best with your other children’s names.
Suggestions (I’m sorry for repeats):

[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Gwenn[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Lucie[/name_f].

For the first names:
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Nicolette[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Victoire[/name_f]
[name_f]Ilona[/name_f]
[name_f]Irene[/name_f]
[name_f]Urania[/name_f]
[name_f]Thyrza[/name_f]

Wow, thanks for all of the wonderful replies!

I also want to add that there are other possible requirements, but I’m not dead set on following them.

  • [name_m]Both[/name_m] girls have 3 syllable first names, with short nicknames: [name_f]Elle[/name_f] and [name_f]Bea[/name_f], so another girl also needs a short nn.

  • The older 2 have -n ending middle names, so I was thinking of a -y ending for this baby to follow the trend?

  • Our last name begins with R and sounds sort of like [name_m]Reno[/name_m], so a lot of R and W names sound terrible.

I do love [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] (with the nn [name_u]Rue[/name_u]), it’s ok with our LN but I’m still unsure how much I like the double R. I also really like [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] but have the same reservations about it. [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] is a longtime love of mine, but it is an absolute NO with our ln.

[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] is adorable! That is a definite possibility because my dh isn’t fond of [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] as a fn, even though I love it.

[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is also a top choice, dh loves it and [name_u]Grey[/name_u] was my grandmothers maiden name.

Clearly I’m still crushing hard on [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] and have been for quite a while now. Any nickname possibilities besides [name_m]Otto[/name_m]? [name_f]Tilli[/name_f]? Or any middle names that can be smushed to make a cute nn? I reeeeeeally like the nn [name_u]Rue[/name_u]!

Oh my goodness, I love [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f]. I have been wishing someone would use it! I prefer [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] with either [name_u]Grey[/name_u] or [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] as a middle. You could use [name_f]Lina[/name_f] as a nn or stretching a bit further how about [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] or even the made up [name_m]Tollie[/name_m]? [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is cute as a nn too. I guess you could alternatively use [name_u]Rue[/name_u] as a middle name and as a nn or as a second middle like [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]?
PS I love your older girls names!

Personally I think if you switched [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] to [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] it would feel brighter and more feminine to go with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. Nickname [name_u]Ottie[/name_u].

[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is my husbands favorite, I’m still undecided on it. I’ve been thinking about [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_f]Truely[/name_f] with the nn of [name_u]Rue[/name_u]. And we both like [name_f]Ottoline[/name_f] [name_m]Callaway[/name_m] with our sibset. [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] makes a super cute nn too! Especially since I am guilty of calling [name_m]Foster[/name_m] “Fossie”, lol.

I have seen [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] before, but am uncertain of how to pronounce it?
