I would call it classic with a twist. [name_u]French[/name_u] leaning for the girls, and British and Irish leaning for the boys.

Slightly mythical but classic too, with a Celtic feel and a tendency towards unexpected nicknames

The feminine list: elegant and pretty, somewhat mythic, regal and stately but with more approachable/down-to-earth nicknames. A bit playful

For the masculine names: less common classics, with an approachable, down-to-earth feel like the nicknames above. These names have a friendly, upbeat sound to me overall! Especially [name_m]Simon[/name_m], [name_u]Wesley[/name_u], [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Jamie[/name_u], [name_u]Freddie[/name_u], [name_u]Robin[/name_u]

[name_f]Vintage[/name_f] and romantic but also casual and classic, somewhat fantastical but not to the point where they’d stand out in modern day
