This is all hypothetical, I’m trying to brainstorm names before I sort out my list.
Names I have on my list already: [name_f]Juno[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Cerys[/name_f], [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u], [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], [name_f]Cosima[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Thea[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f], [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], [name_f]Annalise[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Freya[/name_f], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Nova[/name_f], [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].
A lot on my list already, apologies!
I think [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] are names that give a pretty clear idea of my style. I kind of like names with an edge on them, maybe possibly a rock chick ([name_f]Ramona[/name_f]) or a hippie ([name_f]Saffron[/name_f]) vibe.
PS. More apologies if you’ve seen a lot of my threads that seem to be all over the place (style-wise), I’m just trying to work out what my naming style is and I’m 99.99% sure I’ve found it.
I view both names pretty differently so I’m not sure if I can be of any help. Both names feel very autumn-y to me, though; [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] reminds me of the colour brown and [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] is a burned orange/red to me.
Style-wise, they are quite different to me, though. So, I’m just going to explain my choices.
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] - fits pretty well since it’s neither the style of [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] nor the style of [name_f]Saffron[/name_f], it has the ability to bring these two names together and make the three of them sound like a set. It’s also a very warm name to me.
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] - works well, too but there’s something that makes [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] sound more modern than [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and more normal than [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]; maybe it sounds too “plain” next to them (it is a gorgeous name and we’re not talking about plain as in [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], just in comparison to R and S)
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - has the same warmth about it but it’s the same thing as with [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] - I like it with Ramona but am not sure about Saffron and Celeste
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - is pretty much a chameleon when it comes to fitting the styles of sibling name, however, same thing as with [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] - might be a bit too close to [name_f]Saffron[/name_f], ending wise
[name_f]Elena[/name_f] - I know this is way more popular than both names, but it somehow still fits for me would it not end in -na
[name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] - fits well with [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] but leaves [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] out
the other names all feel much lighter or quirkier, but then we might view them very differently
Our style seems pretty similar, (see names in my signature!) although I don’t really like [name_f]Saffron[/name_f], and I tend to edge on the vintage side. From your list I love [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Cosima[/name_f], [name_f]Thea[/name_f], [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] (prefer [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]), [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. You might like: [name_u]Seren[/name_u], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_f]Azure[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f], [name_f]Odessa[/name_f], [name_f]Junia[/name_f].
Ooh, our styles are pretty similar! I also have most of your boys names on my list, haha.
Thank you (and thank you opheliaflora, you’ve helped me narrow down my list). I love [name_u]Seren[/name_u] (my name is [name_f]Eryn[/name_f] though so it’s way too close), [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] (falling in love with this name) and [name_f]Azure[/name_f].
