Again, inspired by @audreymb’s thread!
I’m 100% sure that if I was a boy, I would’ve been named Caleb Isaac or Caleb James.
I think if my brother was a girl, he would’ve been Chloe Ruth or Emma Ruth.

If I was a boy, I’d have been a [name_m]Bobby[/name_m] or an [name_f]Indy[/name_f] - isn’t that cool!
Also a bit off topic but I thought it was funny, I have a friend who was called [name_m]Dexter[/name_m] for the first six months of her life because her parents were so set on that name for a son that they didn’t even think about girl names!
I think my parents would have settled on [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], or [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] “Andy” !
[name_f]My[/name_f] parents were planning to use [name_m]Jeffrey[/name_m]
I would have been [name_m]George[/name_m]
I would have been [name_m]Gus[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], and my brother would have been [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Wren[/name_f].
I would have been [name_m]Lionel[/name_m]!
I would have been Brenden if I were a boy! My brother would have been Miranda.
My parents did not have a set style at all for our names! My name is old-fashioned and uncommon for my age group, so very different from Brenden that was a modern name for my generation haha. Also very different than the runner-up name of Megan they had for me! My brother has a very uncommon name, but the girl name they picked out was very common for his age. His runner-up name was Caleb. I would say that my name, my sister’s name, and my brother’s names are all different stylistically and categorically from each other. Just kind of funny because I feel like most people have a style whether they realize it or not, but apparently not my parents
Dillon… with that spelling. I guess it’s not the worst out there. but I like the name I have much better.
I was most likely going to be named [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]James[/name_m] or [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]James[/name_m] after my dad’s grandad and my mum’s grandad
Instead, I’m named after one of my dad’s nans
I would have been Alexy! It may sound a tad informal in English-speaking countries, though.
I would have been [name_m]Peter[/name_m] or [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] ‘Tom’
[name_m]Holden[/name_m] [name_m]James[/name_m]
I would’ve been [name_m]Tyson[/name_m] [name_m]Russell[/name_m] (Funnily enough, [name_m]Tyson[/name_m] is my younger cousin’s name
[name_f]My[/name_f] parents waited until they knew my brother was a boy before discussing names so there wasn’t really an alternate name.
For my sister, it started off as [name_m]Finley[/name_m] then went to [name_m]Jordan[/name_m] but after the fact, Mum says she probably would’ve used [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
I would have been [name_m]Riccardo[/name_m] instead of [name_f]Chiara[/name_f]. Two of the most popular names among my peers in the 90s in [name_f]Italy[/name_f].
I would’ve been either [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] or [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] (so long ago that my parents can’t even remember which one ) and my brother would’ve been [name_f]Emily[/name_f] !!
I really wanted to have another go at this.
I remember when my brother was going to be born, if he were a girl, he would’ve been called [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]
I would’ve been either [name_m]Soren[/name_m] or [name_m]Vitale[/name_m]
I would’ve been either [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] or [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], and my middle sister would’ve been one of those, too
my youngest sister would’ve been [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] “Max”
[name_f]My[/name_f] mom says I most likely would have been [name_m]Ryan[/name_m] or [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m].
