What would you name a sister to Alice, Clara, & Lucy?

This is just for fun, but being the namenerd I am I was noticing patterns in our girls’ names: [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Linda[/name_f], & [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Danielle[/name_f]. They all have an L and a C, are short classics, they start and end differently, and they have a chain of initials (AC, CL, LD). If we have a fourth girl her middle name would probably be [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] or [name_f]Audra[/name_f]. What names would you consider?

Hello! Your girls names are very sweet. With those 3 I like [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f]/[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I can’t tell which middle I like better with [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. The name [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] reminds me of the same classic sweet style and would continue on with the initial pattern, where the middle letter starts the next first name, and it comes full circle with an A middle since [name_f]Alice[/name_f] was a first name. I’m all about patterns lol.

[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Dulcie[/name_f]
[name_f]Diana[/name_f]
[name_f]Dagmar[/name_f]
[name_u]Dagny[/name_u]
[name_f]Demelza[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]

[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f] is perfect.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and…

[name_f]Dulcie[/name_f] is a great suggestion!

I also second
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]

Other names with L and C…

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f]
[name_f]Coral[/name_f]
[name_f]Callie[/name_f]

I love your daughter’s names. My ideas would be [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f], [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] or even [name_u]Elliot[/name_u].

I’ve seen your girls names before and think they’re adorable!
Going along with chained initials, DA would bring you back to [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. So, I think it’s only fitting that little miss’s name would begin with a D.
The first thing that came to mind was [name_u]Darcy[/name_u], but I’m not sure that’s different enough from [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. I feel like the hard “r” definitely sets it apart (and connects it to [name_f]Clara[/name_f]) but I could see how it could be considered too matchy and I love that your girls all have a different end sound to their names.
I like a previous posters suggestion of [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], but I miss the “c” from the other girls names.

Ultimately, I still love [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] for you and think [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Audra[/name_f] would be adorable with your sibset.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and [name_u]Darcy[/name_u]”

Not sure if you want a repeating initial but these immediately came to mind:
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Callie[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]

No repeating initials:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Mavis[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f]
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]

[name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and…

[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f] “[name_f]Dot[/name_f]”
[name_u]Dove[/name_u] [name_f]Audra[/name_f]/[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]

If you’d like a name that begins w/D to keep the pattern of initials going, maybe (these are all two syllables to match [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], & [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]; apologies for repeats):

[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Diane[/name_f]/[name_f]Dionne[/name_f]/[name_f]Dianne[/name_f]…but I think [name_f]Diane[/name_f] matches the other girls’ names better
[name_f]Dinah[/name_f]
[name_u]Dana[/name_u]
[name_f]Danae[/name_f]

This is just for fun, but It seems you would have to keep the first with a D to match with the youngest. If you use a C it would match the first two. If you used an L the last two, thus, using a D as a first initial would link [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Since it was difficult to use a short d name with your middles I revived them to have a better flow:

[name_u]Darcy[/name_u] Audriane
[name_f]Deidre[/name_f] [name_f]Audine[/name_f]
[name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f]
Dessi Audrayna

[name_f]Dulcie[/name_f] was my first thought as well! Also [name_f]Cordella[/name_f]/[name_f]Della[/name_f]. I like the suggestion of [name_u]Darcy[/name_u]!

[name_f]Gloria[/name_f]
[name_f]Becca[/name_f]/ [name_f]Becky[/name_f]
[name_f]Jenna[/name_f]
[name_f]Beth[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Celine[/name_f]
[name_f]Vicky[/name_f]
[name_f]Ursa[/name_f]
[name_f]Gracie[/name_f]
[name_f]Callie[/name_f]
[name_f]Macy[/name_f]
[name_f]Nancy[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
[name_f]Janice[/name_f]
[name_f]Cindy[/name_f]
Jocie
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Doris[/name_f]
[name_f]Sybil[/name_f]
[name_f]Cate[/name_f]
[name_f]Betty[/name_f]

[name_f]Diane[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f] or [name_f]Diana[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] fits nicely in this sibset.

[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f]
[name_f]Danielle[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
Devy [name_f]Audra[/name_f]

The first name that came to mind was [name_f]Emma[/name_f]; however, I’m not sure it’s flows well with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. Some other ideas:

[name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Della[/name_f]
[name_f]Dinah[/name_f]
[name_f]Dora[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Iva[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_f]Nell[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_f]Sally[/name_f]

My first thought was [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], but if that’s to be her middle name, then I’d go with:
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Julia[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Nell[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f]
[name_f]Helen[/name_f]
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f]Mary[/name_f]/[name_f]Marianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Anne[/name_f]/[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Elen[/name_f]
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]/[name_f]Noemi[/name_f]
[name_f]Meg[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Belle[/name_f]/[name_f]Bella[/name_f]
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]/[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Janelle[/name_f]
[name_u]Jean[/name_u]
[name_f]Judith[/name_f]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]/[name_f]Viola[/name_f]
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Irene[/name_f]
[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Susan[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Theresa[/name_f]
[name_f]Bess[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]

Your daughters have beautiful names!

I like how all three start and end with a different letter. It feels like they’re all individuals but as the names are all the same style and number of syllables, you can tell they’re sisters.

I’m going to suggest some names for a fourth that follow the style and starts and ends with a different letter again.

[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Edith[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]

And some that don’t fit the criteria I mentioned but do contain C and L:

[name_f]Celia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] (bit long?)
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]
[name_f]Millicent[/name_f] ([name_f]Millie[/name_f])
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f]

[name_f]Darla[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
Or
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Audra[/name_f]

That is a lot of patterns in those names!!

I’m struggling to think of girls names that start with D and contain a C and an L. I can only think of [name_f]Dulcie[/name_f] and Delice/[name_f]Delicia[/name_f]. [name_f]Dulcie[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f] is actually very sweet, and although it shares a sound with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], at least it doesn’t share a final letter.

Otherwise:
[name_f]Donna[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - [name_f]Donna[/name_f] has a bit of that retro vibe I get from [name_f]Linda[/name_f] and [name_f]Danielle[/name_f], but it does share an ending
[name_f]Doreen[/name_f]/[name_f]Dorine[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - this would be a unique ending, which I like, and again kind of retro
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f] - I really like [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] with your other girls’ names - very classic
[name_f]Dina[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - again, shares an ending, but short and classic with a little punch like the other girls
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f] - [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] looks a bit longer written, but shares a short sound
[name_f]Doris[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - verrrry retro, but could feel spunky on a little girl nowadays
[name_f]Dollie[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f] - more nickname-y than your other girls, but cute and old feeling still
[name_f]Deann[/name_f] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - this would be a unique ending, and a fun name

I would say overall with [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] I like best [name_f]Donna[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f].

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Polly[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophi[/name_f] (e/a)
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]

The first name I thought of when I saw the subset was [name_f]May[/name_f] but unfortunately it doesn’t fit the criteria of starting with D.

I also highly suggest [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] which goes wonderfully with the sibset even though it doesn’t have an L or a C.

I also think [name_f]Doris[/name_f] would be a great choice - [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Doris[/name_f] make such an adorable vintage sibset!

Here are some more suggestions for you:
[name_f]Della[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorcas[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_u]Darcey[/name_u]/[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]/[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]
[name_f]Dolly[/name_f]
[name_f]Darla[/name_f]
