This is all hypothetical, but I’m redoing my lists (sort of) and like to have a nice even top ten. I have 7 names at the moment, and one maybe name…so what names would you add to this list?
Thank you for all of these great suggestions! I have had several of these names on my lists as firsts and middles before, so you have definitely got my style right.
From these suggestions, I’m going to consider…
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f]
[name_f]Pandora[/name_f]
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Drusilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f]
[name_f]Demelza[/name_f]
What are your thoughts of [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] of [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] with this list?
Apart from [name_f]Sibyl[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] all your names have been on my list for girls so I’ll add…
[name_f]Persephone[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f]
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]
It’s a great list. I’m sad I only got to use 2 names
Thank you! I am considering [name_f]Isadora[/name_f]. I would consider [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] too if I didn’t love [name_m]Percival[/name_m] so much.
What two did you get to use if you don’t mind sharing?
I slightly prefer [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] to [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] here - the X gives it a fitting eccentricity, but there’s something too jarring about it compared to the other rounded, flow-y type names you have there.
I used [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] ”
I can see why [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] isn’t an option when you love [name_m]Percival[/name_m]…I love the nn [name_u]Percy[/name_u] for a boy, my daughter’s nn is Sephy.
I would add [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] not sure which I’d pick …I like the x factor of one and the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] factor of the other!
And [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] is lovely unfortunately for me my DH doesn’t like it ”
