What would you name Adelaide's brother?

Thanks to all you lovely Berries and some inspiration from some Nameberry lists and posts, I think we’re getting closer in our search for a sibling name for our [name_m]Little[/name_m] Miss, [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]:

  • [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_m]Archer[/name_m]
  • [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]
  • [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]

Please let me know what your favourite (if any!) sibset is out of these three.

I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m] best. I think [name_m]Archer[/name_m] has a gentleman quality while still being fun and modern. [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] go well with [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] as well, but I think [name_m]Archer[/name_m] matches better. I’ve also seen [name_m]Archer[/name_m] brought up before so you must like it and perhaps are just second guessing it. I second guessed my favorite name the entire pregnancy and even a few weeks after giving birth, but I’m glad I went with it. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these names though!

You have picked well and can’t go wrong with any of your choices!

The stand out to me is definitely [name_m]Archer[/name_m], but [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] just fit so well together-good luck deciding!!

Thank you for your response :blush: You’re spot on - I’m second guessing [name_m]Archer[/name_m], and I think the reason for that is because my partner loves it so much. So using this name is becoming a real possibility, which is freaking me out a little bit! I really like it too (along with the nn [name_m]Archie[/name_m]) but I’m not sure that it has that vintage feel that I’m after?

BTW, I’ve long loved the name [name_f]Alice[/name_f]! It’s such a sweet, yet strong and classic name that has literary cred as an added bonus. You’ve chosen so well :slightly_smiling_face: Congratulations on [name_u]Baby[/name_u] #2!!

Personally I like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] the best. [name_m]Archer[/name_m] would be my 2nd fav and then [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. It seems that [name_m]Archer[/name_m] is your favorite and I think [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] ([name_m]Archie[/name_m] and [name_f]Addy[/name_f]) make an outstanding sibset :slight_smile:
