What would you name an Easter / Spring Baby?

I have done my new UC according to that theme for both boys and girls.

I have been wondering what other berries think!

Would the sprig season give you an unique kind of inspiration when it comes to baby naming? Would you use nature names, names connected to new life or beginning? [name_u]Or[/name_u] maybe there is a name that just gives off the sunny, blossoming vibe to you but you don’t extactly know why? No matter your reasoning, feel free to throw all these combos at me in this thread! :tulip:

For me, the top choices would be [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] “[name_f]Ana[/name_f]” and [name_m]Emilian[/name_m] [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u].

I like the idea of using spring inspired names, although I wouldn’t do it myself  Though I would be happy to hear of a spring baby [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]!

Joseph [name_m]Pascal[/name_m] / [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] / [name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_u]Pascale[/name_u]

I actually think my top girl name, [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f], is perfect for spring and [name_f]Easter[/name_f]! It has the association of lilies, the traditional [name_f]Easter[/name_f] flower, as well as [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalene[/name_f].

For a boy, I’d go with [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Pascal[/name_m].

I love your [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Tulip[/name_f] “[name_f]Bunny[/name_f]”, [name_f]Magdalene[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f], [name_m]Emilian[/name_m] [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u], and [name_u]Katriel[/name_u] [name_u]Arlington[/name_u]!

Last year I did a seasonal themed UC and my [name_f]Spring[/name_f] combos were: [name_f]Aine[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Amalia[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f], [name_f]Lainey[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] Springtime, [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] [name_f]Primavera[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u], [name_u]Rylan[/name_u] [name_u]Prairie[/name_u], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_f]Wildflower[/name_f], Fields [name_u]Oliver[/name_u], and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Heron[/name_u].

I think if I were to choose for a real baby, I would use [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u] and Fields [name_u]Oliver[/name_u].

Ooh. [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] is the first thing that popped into my head for a girl. For a boy, [name_u]River[/name_u] or [name_u]Brooks[/name_u]. Maybe [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u].

Flora [name_f]Pascaline[/name_f] :gift_heart:

Pascoe for a boy (popular choice!) – maybe [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] [name_m]Felix[/name_m] “happy [name_f]Easter[/name_f]” or [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] [name_u]Florian[/name_u].

My top choice would probably [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f]

If I had a baby born on the spring [name_u]Equinox[/name_u] ([name_u]March[/name_u] 20ish), I’d be very tempted to use [name_u]Equinox[/name_u] as one of their middle names (currently 90% sure my kid will have a double middle name).

And [name_f]Ostara[/name_f] is the [name_m]Pagan[/name_m] spring holiday… So if I wanted a very “springy” name, I’d go with [name_f]Ostara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_u]Equinox[/name_u] ([name_f]Rose[/name_f] is an honor name).

I’d probably use nature names! Which is pretty in step with my style anyway lol

Rowan [name_m]John[/name_m] and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Clary[/name_f] (or maybe [name_f]Fern[/name_f] [name_f]Clary[/name_f]) come to mind!

(Middles are honors)

Probably [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Cerelia[/name_f] & [name_u]Christian[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] / [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] [name_u]Christian[/name_u] or [name_f]Yara[/name_f] [name_f]Cerelia[/name_f] & [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Christian[/name_u].

We have a [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] [name_u]Christian[/name_u] in our family tree, so I’d love to flip the name around to [name_u]Christian[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]. My only concern is the connections the sibset would have, so I’d consider keeping it [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] [name_u]Christian[/name_u].

I think [name_f]Aiyana[/name_f] [name_u]Diamond[/name_u] ([name_f]Aiyana[/name_f] means “beautiful flower”, [name_u]Diamond[/name_u] being [name_f]April[/name_f]’s birthstone) or [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] [name_f]Amiyah[/name_f] ([name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] as the symbolism of new beginnings, [name_f]Amiyah[/name_f] meaning “rain”) would be my choice for a girl, and for a boy, [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] ([name_u]Dallas[/name_u] meaning “from the valley meadows” and [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] meaning “cross”)

Maeva [name_f]Rosette[/name_f] or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m]

Probably just my top names, but if I wanted to go based off the season, [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] for a girl & maybe [name_m]Pascal[/name_m] for a boy.

I’d just have to use [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]!
For a girl, [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Magdalene[/name_f]. For a boy, [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Sunny[/name_u].

Peter simply because it reminds me of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Rabbit, which then reminds me of the [name_f]Easter[/name_f] [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] :rabbit::cherry_blossom:

[name_u]Beckett[/name_u] [name_f]Evening[/name_f] :relaxed: [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] means “brook” or “bee cottage” which is just adorable for a [name_f]Spring[/name_f] baby.

Arley [name_f]Blossom[/name_f]
[name_u]Arley[/name_u] comes from a word meaning rabbit of the meadow

Kelby [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_u]Kelby[/name_u] is a Gaelic name meaning fountain of the spring

@ethelmary [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] is lovely! I love it as a nickname to [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] or -son names.

@VEL [name_f]Oona[/name_f] [name_u]Pascale[/name_u] is so whimsical and elegant! Swoon

@elanorelle Oh! [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] really has the spring vibes. I actually did not realize lilies are considered traditionally [name_f]Easter[/name_f] flowers. In my country we think about pasqueflowers (ofc) and convallaries as traditional for that season. I would always get a convallaria for my birthday. I’m a [name_m]Taurus[/name_m].

@EagleEyes I’m glad you like my combos :sparkling_heart:
I love the idea of seasonal UCs! I think I’ll do a [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] one, too! Your seasonal UC was phenomenal, especially [name_f]Amalia[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_u]Rylan[/name_u] [name_u]Prairie[/name_u] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Heron[/name_u]! It’s the first time I’ve seen [name_u]Heron[/name_u] and oh my gosh do I love some unique nature names for boys! [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u] & Fields [name_u]Oliver[/name_u] would make the cutest [name_f]Easter[/name_f] twinset :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@jessicajanex17 [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] & [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] are such a cute sibset! [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] are my absolute favourite weekday names [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is gorgeous and I like that it sounds gender neutral, too.

@katinka [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Pascaline[/name_f] is so charming! I love this more feminine take on [name_u]Pascale[/name_u]. [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] [name_m]Felix[/name_m]’s meaning is so clever  but [name_u]Pascoe[/name_u] [name_u]Florian[/name_u] is just top notch. Masculine but romantic.

@BronwynParry1 [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] is really springtime-like! Very elaborate but still flows well.

@Elle1 Very bold and brave choice. I didn’t know the name [name_f]Ostara[/name_f] or the Germanic holiday, so thanks for introducting me to it! Now the [name_m]German[/name_m] word for [name_f]Easter[/name_f] suddenly makes a lot more sense.

@itsjustjack [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Clary[/name_f] is very sweet!

@shells15 Well, [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] and [name_u]Christian[/name_u] definitely have a connection but I don’t think the majority of people know the exact names of the books’ characters. Most just know the title and well… topic. But [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] & [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] are lovely together. [name_f]Yara[/name_f] [name_f]Cerelia[/name_f] is unusual yet feminine, definitely my favourite of the bunch. I’ve been looking for a [name_f]Yara[/name_f] MN and this seems perfect.

@leafsgirl44 Wow, your style is so 2000’s [name_f]Barbie[/name_f]-movie-like. I love it

@littlemxsunshine [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] [name_f]Rosette[/name_f] :sparkling_heart:

@skylerros [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] is underrated! [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] nn [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] or [name_f]Ava[/name_f] would be very cute! Too bad I can’t fully fall in love with the name because it’s an insurance company

@gracegillian Oh the associations you have with [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] are so precious! :rabbit: :rabbit2:

@halinka I didn’t realise [name_u]Beckett[/name_u]’s “bee cottage” meaning. So warm and cozy! [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] [name_f]Evening[/name_f] sounds gender-neutral to me.

@seawillow [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] is such an underrated classic and so is [name_m]Peter[/name_m]! Lamb is such an unexpected middle and I love the subtle connection to [name_f]Easter[/name_f] here.

@Shaunaa Beautiful meanings! I’ve never heard of [name_u]Arley[/name_u] or [name_u]Kelby[/name_u] so thanks for introducing me to it. I love Kel- names for boys like [name_m]Kellan[/name_m], [name_m]Kellen[/name_m], [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] or even [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] itself!

@moonwriteen Thank you! You are more than welcome to add [name_f]Yara[/name_f] [name_f]Cerelia[/name_f] to your list. I’m liking it so much, it is going on mine.
