So, out of the names you are considering I like Roseline. I think [name_u]Bay[/name_u], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], and [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] would be cute together. It’s feminine, but not overly so.
Other rose names your husband might like:
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamond[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]/a
[name_f]Rosalba[/name_f]
[name_u]Rosario[/name_u]- boy name, but I think works better for girls here.
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]- I already mentioned, but I love it
Is [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] both your favorite and the only reason you don’t like it is popularity? If that’s the case, I would ignore popularity. As someone who spent my entire second pregnancy over analyzing everything and now am in the process of renaming my daughter, I would advise not to let popularity stop you. [name_f]Love[/name_f] for the name and the meaning it has to you always trumps the popularity or unusualness of it. Children just want to be equally loved by there parents, so [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_m]Bayard[/name_m] don’t match, but if you love both names equally, I don’t think they’ll mind… Plus, [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_u]Bay[/name_u] is cute. Sorry for rant
Now, if you like the other two more, I’d say get rid of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]. While, lily and [name_u]Bay[/name_u] are cute together, if I heard the sweet [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and strong [name_m]Bayard[/name_m], I’d assume brother and sister.
Some other lillian names:
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilou[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f]
Sayuri
[name_m]Yuri[/name_m]
[name_f]Lillia[/name_f]
The other names you mentioned I like, but I’m not sure they fit. I definitely think a strong feminization with a cute nature nickname would work. If your husband likes [name_u]Bay[/name_u], then there’s still hope for other nicknames :).
My favorites for you so far are [name_f]Laurel[/name_f], Roseline, [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], And [name_u]Rosario[/name_u].
I’ll think of feminizations and come back…
