What would you name Inigo's sister?

What would you name [name_m]Inigo[/name_m]'s sister?

We’re thinking something not too long, 3-syllables tops, more on the rare side (preferably rare but recognizable like [name_m]Inigo[/name_m]), feminine and strong.

We’re looking to get some last minute ideas because we still aren’t sure about [name_f]Liv[/name_f] (Leev), [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Coral[/name_f] or any other name we’ve considered so far.

[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] is fantastic!

[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] & [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] & [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] & [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]

[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] &

[name_f]Elva[/name_f]
[name_f]Tahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Rena[/name_f]
[name_f]Britta[/name_f]
[name_f]Greer[/name_f]

Short like [name_f]Liv[/name_f]:
[name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Ida[/name_f]
[name_f]Nola[/name_f]
[name_f]Leda[/name_f]

Strong, feminine, rare but pronounceable:
[name_f]Minerva[/name_f]
[name_f]Samira[/name_f]
[name_f]Winifred[/name_f] (old but rare and strong)
[name_f]Elina[/name_f]
[name_f]Anwen[/name_f]

Some nature names like [name_f]Coral[/name_f] that are definitely feminine:
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f]
[name_u]Sequoia[/name_u]
[name_f]Myrtle[/name_f]

You could try [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Silvia[/name_f] or [name_f]Livia[/name_f] if the only thing holding you back with [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is the shortness.

[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] and…

[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonor[/name_f]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_f]Milena[/name_f]
[name_f]Mireya[/name_f]
Noemí
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]

Lumen, I love your suggestions of [name_f]Leonie[/name_f], [name_f]Mireya[/name_f] (or alternate spellings [name_f]Mireia[/name_f] and [name_f]Mirella[/name_f]), [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Noemi[/name_f]! I love [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] and had considered it as a nickname for [name_f]Coral[/name_f], but maybe the other way around would sound more fresh and attractive? I also love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], how it looks and it’s meaning, but what thows me off is the way it’s pronounced in both [name_u]Brit[/name_u] and US English, as opposed to in Spanish which is just so, so gorgeous… so I guess no to that one.

[name_f]Leonie[/name_f] is lovely and lively at the same time, but I feel like may be perhaps a bit similar to [name_m]Inigo[/name_m]. [name_m]Will[/name_m] have to think about it… It disheartens me that my babies will be here in less than 2 days and I’m so lost and behind with something that should have been decided somewhere in the past 7 or 8 months.

[name_f]Leonor[/name_f] is lovely but is the name of the Spanish infanta and heir to the throne as well as a friend’s daughter’s name, so that one is also out.

Thank you for the help!

[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] and [name_f]Adelpha[/name_f] - Greek beloved sister
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] and [name_f]Magali[/name_f]
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] and [name_f]Arminta[/name_f] - Greek defender
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] and [name_f]Ziva[/name_f]
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] and [name_f]Anais[/name_f]

I like [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] and…

[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Marisol[/name_f]
[name_f]Odette[/name_f]
[name_f]Gilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Reeva[/name_f]

I feel you. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is just so gorgeus in spanish pronunciation, in english is not as pretty. I have a question, do you live in Spain? If so, you could still use [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and I would choose [name_f]Mireia[/name_f] as the fave spelling.

Other suggestions
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] (seriously, in Spain is not popular, specially as a children’s name)
[name_f]Gisela[/name_f]
Estíbaliz
[name_f]Amaia[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelina[/name_f]
[name_f]Alicia[/name_f]
[name_f]Carlota[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosa[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Thais[/name_f]
[name_f]Dalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Margarita[/name_f]
[name_f]Eulalia[/name_f]

Oh I think [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] & [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] are perfect together! Also love [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], nn [name_f]Coral[/name_f]. Best of [name_m]Luck[/name_m]! [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t worry the perfect name will come. It took me a week after birth to name my second. You are not alone in the slower process of picking a beautiful name.

I do live in Spain and we plan to raise our children here. You’re right that [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is not popular in Spain, heaven knows I’ve nearly memorized the 2014 top 100’s list… but it just hasn’t appealed to me as [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]. I think it’s due to the association of the filme (one of my favorites) and the fact that I just know my daughter will look like [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], fair skin, dark hair and dark eyes. I also really prefer the spelling [name_f]Mireia[/name_f], feels more clean and reminds me somehow of nymphs and mermaids. [name_f]Alicia[/name_f] is beautiful, but my twin sister’s name and [name_f]Eulalia[/name_f] has been on our list on and off, but pronunciation in English really concerns me as our families are all English-speaking (aside from my mother and sister).

Thank you for the help and support!
