What Would You Name Me?

So…

I’m renaming myself. I am an [name]Emily[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. But I think it’s boring and I hate being [name]Emily[/name] K., so I’m changing it. I’ve heard people say, when they see their offspring “Oh, he looks like a [name]Leo[/name]” which I think is cute and interesting, and subjective. If you feel comfortable with it, I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind taking a peek at a photograph of myself, and based on your own subjective opinion, telling me what I “look” like. I have a list of first names that I am already considering, so this is more out of curiosity than absolute need.

Notes about this photograph; My hair is about 7 inches longer. My eyes are blue/green, my hair is dirty blonde, and I’ve got red speck thing in my right eye, which I call a birthmark).

I think you look 100% like a [name]Valerie[/name]. As soon as I saw the picture I thought her name has to be [name]Valerie[/name] :slight_smile:

That’d be lovely, but I have an Aunt [name]Valerie[/name], who is lovely, but I don’t want to name myself after her.

No offense taken if you don’t like these names, but soft “A” names popped in my head: [name]Annalise[/name], [name]Annaleigh[/name], Alisandra.

I actually love [name]Caroline[/name], but my cousin who is a brat is named that…and I feel like my family wouldn’t understand the difference between [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Coraline[/name]. :frowning:

You like like maybe a [name]Thea[/name]? Or any flowery name, like [name]Lily[/name], [name]Rosalie[/name], [name]Sage[/name] or [name]Violet[/name].

I liked the suggestion of [name]Valerie[/name], but since that’s not an option, perhaps [name]Gwendolen[/name] or [name]Aubrey[/name]?

Too me you look very much like an [name]Emily[/name] :slight_smile: but if you don’t feel that it is right then that is your opinion. I really think you look like a [name]Valerie[/name] too. Too bad both are off the table :frowning: I think maybe [name]Courtney[/name], [name]Aubrey[/name], or [name]Chloe[/name] would suit you as well :slight_smile:

My first thoughts were [name]Danielle[/name] and [name]Harmony[/name]. I could kind of see you as a [name]Claire[/name] or a [name]Mary[/name], as well.

I like [name]Tara[/name] and [name]Danielle[/name] for you too. If [name]Danielle[/name] is too common for you then [name]Daniela[/name].

I dont know why, but the name [name]Zelda[/name] popped in my head when i saw your pic. Something mysterious, strong, and warrior-esque.

Ooh, or [name]Annette[/name]. If you want to keep your middle name of [name]Rose[/name], then I think [name]Annette[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is lovely.

[name]Caroline[/name] was my first thought (unfortunate that it’s already your cousin’s name), but I think [name]Caterina[/name] would suit you, too.

Maybe [name]Evelyn[/name] or [name]Livia[/name]? I think the nn [name]Viv[/name] would realy suit you, but you don’t really strike me as a [name]Vivienne[/name]…? I admire you for making the change. I am happy to love the name my parents gave me – but if I didn’t, I don’t think I’d have the moxy to change it. Good for you!
