[name_m]Hi[/name_m] guys! I’m a recently joined teenberry from Korea. I hate my name (which is, of course, a Korean name) for reasons so I’m thinking of having an English name that I’ll use in English academy and my novel. Here’s a description of me.
I’m tall, have quite long straight brown/black hair and black eyes. According to my bff, when she first saw me, she wanted to talk to me but she was afraid I’d be mad, so I guess my first impression is cold lol. I’m introverted, I love reading books and making stories. My classmates think I’m a “good-grade student who loves teacher and little nerdy” which is kinda correct.
I’m open to all suggestions(And sorry if I posted this on a wrong forum.) And if that helps, my American and [name_m]German[/name_m] penpals suggested me [name_f]Ell[/name_f]@, [name_f]Ro[/name_f]$@, Twyl@, R@yleigh, He$ti@, [name_m]Al[/name_m]@nn@, L@ri$$a and [name_f]Elin[/name_f]@. Thanks in advance!
I actually really like [name_f]Alina[/name_f] and [name_f]Twyla[/name_f]! I think they suit the description you gave beautifully :).
What about…
[name_f]Danielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Kara[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nn “[name_u]Josie[/name_u]/[name_u]Jo[/name_u]”
[name_u]Dakota[/name_u]
[name_f]Ava[/name_f]
[name_f]Sally[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f]
[name_f]Mia[/name_f]
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] nn “[name_u]Brooke[/name_u]”
[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Trixie[/name_f]
[name_f]Selah[/name_f]
Narla
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f]
@musicwaves Thanks I really like [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] (It’s actually a main character of my story, lol), [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u], Narla and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]! Also [name_f]Alanna[/name_f] is the fav among the names that my friends have suggested. I’m sad that I can’t use [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Selah[/name_f]
@aliciadawn Thank you! I like [name_f]Lia[/name_f] (Prefer this spelling to [name_f]Leah[/name_f]), [name_f]Jenna[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u]. I love [name_u]Eden[/name_u] but sadly can’t use it…
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]? That’s the first name that came to mind. Also, [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is popular for some Korean Americans. I think the symbol for Seoul means “grace”-- I think it’s nice to have a cultural tie.
@davisellu Wow I have [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] in my list, but never thought it will suit me. I thought it sounded too lovely and cute for me. I didn’t know the symbol for Seoul means grace, since I don’t live there. Maybe I’ll post a poll soon. Thanks!
I’m not great at thinking of names for people based on their real personality. But I wanted to second both [name_f]Twyla[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. Both way underused and lovely, and both sound like they’d suit you well.
