While I am entertaining the idea of using Wulfric(as I had a dream of calling my unborn that and do love it), I’m trying to figure out what would work for his possible future sister if we used it. here’s my longish list of names I’ve been considering, but would like to hear of any other names you like with Wulfric.
To me, Wulfric sounds like a [name_m]German[/name_m] name, so i would pair a future sister’s name with something [name_m]German[/name_m]:
[name_f]Frida[/name_f], [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f], [name_f]Maude[/name_f], etc.
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] list! My first thought was [name_f]Ebba[/name_f], but possibly not frilly enough for you. I think they all pretty much work, but my favourites with Wulfric are…
Wulfric is an ace name, good job finding a modern usable version. [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m] was my [name_m]German[/name_m] grandfather, and his nn was [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] or Uncle Wolfie.
Nice:
Wulfric & [name_f]Coraline[/name_f]
Wulfric & [name_f]Philomena[/name_f]
Wulfric & [name_f]Greta[/name_f]
Wulfric & [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] - the werewolf and vampire who fall madly in love
Wulfric & [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] (<3 Lyra)
Wulfric & Viveca
Wulfric & Elora
Wulfric & Corisande
Wulfric & Melusina
Wulfric & Aurelia - lovely, but not the best match for Wulfric.
Wulfric & Astoria
Wulfric & Elowen
Wulfric & Phaedra
Wulfric & Octavia
Wulfric & Pomeline
Best:
Wulfric & Illyria - This combo is incredible. Move over Hansel & Gretel, these kids will slay witches with crossbows.
Wulfric & Willa - Soft, German.
Wulfric & Frida - German?
Wulfric & Lucille - the contrast here really gives them their own personality while sounding refined together.
Cendrine [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] is a [name_m]French[/name_m] children’s writer. While visiting in laws in [name_f]France[/name_f] we stayed in the youngest daughters room. The author’s name caught my eye, and I’ve been trying to remember it all day.
Cendrine \ce-ndri-ne, cen(d)-rine\ as a girl’s name is of [name_m]French[/name_m] origin, and the meaning of Cendrine is “little ashes”. Short form of [name_f]Cendrillon[/name_f], the [name_m]French[/name_m] name for [name_f]Cinderella[/name_f]. Also a phonetic respelling of [name_f]Sandrine[/name_f], which is derived from [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f].
