Looking for a name to go with [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], we have decided to take all the names out of the running and see what feels right when we see her. We obviously want it to sound nice with [name_f]Cressida[/name_f].
We know that her middle names are definitely going to be [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] but after that we reach a dead end.
I was just wondering what some people would pair with [name_f]Cressida[/name_f]?
First thought: [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f]. It may be too matchy, given the double S and the Shakespearean connection. And [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] doesn’t sound very nice.
[name_f]Amoret[/name_f], maybe? I don’t know why I chose it, [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] and [name_f]Amoret[/name_f] just sound nice together. [name_f]Amoret[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f].
Otherwise I’d go for [name_f]Leonore[/name_f]. [name_f]Leonore[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f].
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] is nice too, but I’m not sure about how it flows with the middles. [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f].
I love the name cressida, what do you shorten it too? I only know 1 and she’s a cressa.
What about [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] or [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]?
probably repeats!
We don’t usually shorten it, but when we do it is either Cress or [name_f]Cressie[/name_f] but she doesn’t answer to either of these names. However, she does often talk in third person and always calls herself [name_f]Cressie[/name_f], it’s quite funny.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the suggestions of [name_f]Marilla[/name_f], [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f], and [name_f]Leonore[/name_f]. And your middles are fantastic.
