[name_u]Pat[/name_u] would get all fired up and angry, and make a list of everything that is wrong with the rules of the land (it’s a fantasy book, and the laws are absolute crap). Then she’d drag her friend [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] along with her, and proceed to yell at him for making her and her friends’ lives miserable

Gaiane would have a lovely new raccoon fur cape, despite the fact that she lives in caves and neither raccoons nor chips exist where she’s from (we’ll chalk it up to her gift for the impossible :D).

Claude would complain about it to his partner, Matt, and explain how it should have ended, complete with diagrams and evidence from the book. He isn’t creative at all, but he enjoys debating so trying to prove his point is right up his alley

Darcy is a romantic, so they would prioritize their feelings over any family dynamics. They aren’t close to their father, anyways, so they don’t care about his feelings.

[name_m]Brynjar[/name_m] would absolutely hate it. He would see if he could get some other job that doesn’t directly harm people. He’s very empathetic and could not deal with taking someone’s life. He’d do much better from behind a desk.

[name_u]Zeke[/name_u] would wear his cleanest battle jacket over a dress shirt & bowtie, and spike his hair with the most precision he’s ever had. He cares about looking presentable for formal events but he’s dedicated to his punk presentation. He manages them both well!

MJ would love it as both of her dads are on broadway along with her biological mother/aunt, and she is named after [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Jackson[/name_u] so yeah, she would be over the moon especially if it was [name_f]Hedwig[/name_f] and the Angry Inch as her father [name_u]Blaine[/name_u] was preforming in that musical when she was born

[name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] would absolutely hate it. She doesn’t like oversharing, or just sharing, so she’d probably lock herself in her quarters and only come out for food. She probably wouldn’t be close to those friends anymore.
WWYCD if their closest friend mysteriously vanished without a trace?
[name_f]Liadain[/name_f] doesn’t really have any friends, or she claims she doesn’t, since most people she knows are less than polite due to her twin sister’s strange eyes. In reality there’s two people she like half counts as friends, [name_u]Ace[/name_u] and a boy with a name still to be decided. If either of them were to just straight up disappear it would be the least surprising thing on the planet, and she’d start interrogating her twin because obviously her twin’s going to know something about it since they’re on complete opposite sides of what’s essentially a war.
WWYCD if they were offered the job of their dreams but they had to work nights only and would have to sleep all day?

she would most likely take the job. she knows how little opportunities to do things she truly wants arrives and normally will do whatever it takes to make her dreams come true. she’d probably try to stay optimistic about the night shift but would end up feeling very over worked as her daughter would have to be taken care of during the day. though she definitely has people who would help her, she’d feel like a burden and feel guilty for not spending time with her child. eventually, she’d probably quit her job and just hope and pray that the opportunity would come around again.

[name_u]Pat[/name_u] would be really scared, because she already lives deep in the woods, and most people think she’s dead. But then she’d go even deeper in the woods and get her friends and siblings to lie to whoever sent it and say that she’s either dead, or they don’t know her.

[name_f]Joy[/name_f] would pretend she wasn’t lost for as long as possible and wander around until she made it out. If she couldn’t find a way to get out and it had been a while, she would probably start to panic.
[name_f]Estella[/name_f] would call for help, and if no one came, she would try to make the most of the situation. Eventually she would just start crying.
