What would your kids names be if your S/O named them?

No SO right now, but my ex loved [name_u]Luca[/name_u] and [name_m]Matteo[/name_m] for boys. I remember her vetoing my [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] in favor of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] for a girl. She also liked [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (my middle name) with [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as a nickname, if I remember right!

Your SO has a totally grand list, oh my word! I love [name_m]Hawk[/name_m], [name_u]Rafe[/name_u], and [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] — for some reason, I think they make a perfect sibset. They’re so cool.

I’m feeling perhaps too inspired by these. They’re so fun.

my girlfriend has always wanted to name a daughter mae after her grandmother, and that’s as much thought as she’s ever given it

although, one time i had her make combos out of my long list and she said her picks would be elodie fleur & percy elliot! so i guess those would be our kids’ names if she was making the decision, but with my style

I need to ask him again, just in case he’s changed his mind! This will be a fun thing to take a wild guess on, but I’ll come back again later to see if I guessed correctly or not :joy:

[name_f]My[/name_f] guess: [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_u]Rio[/name_u], [name_f]Marina[/name_f], [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] & Abel… he’s also mentioned loving the name [name_f]Galilea[/name_f], but an old friend of ours named his daughter that.

He would name our daughter [name_u]Esme[/name_u] [name_f]Renee[/name_f] ! A little rhyme-y for me, but not too bad

I find it hard to untangle our lists and favorite names at this point, after naming four children together. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband is a name nerd as well, so we both have endless lists and discussions about names, and our tastes seem to blur together all of the time.

In general, he’d use Russian names like [name_u]Konstantin[/name_u], [name_m]Rodion[/name_m], [name_m]Vasili[/name_m], [name_f]Zinaida[/name_f] and [name_f]Valeria[/name_f] as middle names.
For boys, he’d use first names that are even more out there than the ones we used now (or at least that’s how they feel to me), think Aldebaran, [name_m]Morpheus[/name_m] and [name_m]Hades[/name_m].
For girls he tends to like more cutesy names, for example [name_f]Effie[/name_f], [name_f]Flory[/name_f], [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f].

I was sort of correct! He does love these names, but only because we’ve discussed them. He can’t remember what names he used to like, because he’s just not into names like that. Fortunately, he has me to help him think :joy: :joy: But a name he did add to the list was Andres, because his Dad really loves it, I think it would honor someone. (:

Another without a SO right now, but I’m curious to find out in the future.

@GreenEyes375 [name_u]Rafe[/name_u] [name_m]Excalibur[/name_m] and [name_m]Hawk[/name_m] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] are great. They both stood out to me immediately.

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes very familiar first names with some wildly unexpected middle names. Left totally on his own I expect he would’ve named our daughter something like [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] or [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u]
