Can you help me pinpoint my style? most of these names feel the same to me but I’m not sure what i would call it.
[name]Celia[/name]
[name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Clara[/name]
[name]Ottilie[/name]
[name]Mae[/name]
[name]Lane[/name] (probably would spell as [name]Laine[/name] for a girl, grandmother’s maiden name)
[name]Eve[/name]
[name]Zara[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Marina[/name]
[name]Nina[/name]
[name]Rowena[/name]
[name]Sloane[/name] (feels less feminine than her counterparts but is a long time favorite nonetheless)
[name]Esther[/name]
[name]Aria[/name]
Middle name only:
[name]Reverie[/name]
[name]Bellamy[/name]
[name]Estella[/name]
[name]Coralie[/name]
[name]Cecelia[/name]
I not very good at pinpointing styles either but I can give it a go!
You seem to like girly, not too out there and naturey names (like ivy, marina and rowena)
I think there are certain sounds you’re drawn to: the EE sound, the soft-C, Ls.
I think you’re drawn to names for the feeling they convey- not necessarily the meaning, but the images they call up. Your first names make me think of the sky, of roses, the sea, spring growth, clarity, a feeling of freshness and open space. Your middle names have a slightly more mysterious, filigreed, dreamy quality.
A mix of vintage and nature names! I agree with emma’s post, so I won’t repeat. (It’s funny that taz mentioned ballerina-names; when I did ballet, I danced with a [name]Celia[/name], [name]Cecilia[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Eve[/name]. And my name’s [name]Ottilie[/name]…).
