Years ago on Nameberry I saw the combo (I’ve long forgotten whose it was) Elowen Pear and Elowen Plum and I still think about those combos on a semi-regular basis and think about how utterly gorgeous they are.

Yes, I had been having a hard time getting into [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] because she is so sugary sweet which is great but doesn’t quite “fit” but I think she really suits middles like [name_u]Zohar[/name_u] (and I had been deciding between [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_u]Zohar[/name_u] and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] Peregrine)

It’s taken me years to warm to [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], and [name_u]Lark[/name_u] occasionally comes off as just a tad bit “try-hard”-- but since I first heard the combo years ago, I have yet to get over how perfect it is. I don’t think I could use either [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] or [name_u]Lark[/name_u] myself because it wouldn’t be [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_u]Lark[/name_u] 
Together they are grounded and still have wings.
