My hubby won’t let me tell any of our friends and families any of the names on our “short list” (he wants it to be a surprise) so that only leaves me with the opinions of my fellow 'Berries! So please help me out and vote on your favorite from our list of top girl’s names and, if you have any, post your feedback/thoughts as well?

PS. Middle name is set because it has special meaning to us, first name is what’s up for grabs :slight_smile: We have a very Dutch last name that begins with van.

My favourite would be [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Joelle[/name], that would be my pick, I think it is a beautiful name with tons of nickname potential.

[name]Amelia[/name], [name]Margot[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] would sound lovely with a “[name]Van[/name]” Dutch surname. Depending on where you live, Lieve’s pronunciation may get butchered more often than not, Avaliese is a bad smoosh ([name]Anneliese[/name] would be much better) and [name]Morgan[/name] [name]Van[/name]…isn’t ideal.

[name]Both[/name] with ‘van’ and with [name]Joelle[/name], I think [name]Margot[/name] sounds best. The others repeat the V, N or L.

Thanks everyone, this really does help me figure out which way to go. To everyone who loves Lieve, I had never heard it before yesterday either and now I’m madly in love with it! It’s Dutch and it means “dear” if anyone is curious. I know the pronunciation will get butchered here in the US but I may pick it anyway, I just think it’s so pretty.
