I’m absolutely in love with -ett ending boys’ names, and as I’m redoing my boys’ list, I’m trying to limit myself to just one of them. I’m curious if I’ve missed any good ones in my search, so I’m curious–which is your favorite?
[name]IMO[/name], names that don’t technically end in the “ett” spelling, such as [name]Elliot[/name] or [name]Abbott[/name], definitely count. In case anyone is curious.
[name]Garrett[/name]! (Mostly due to Actor [name]Garrett[/name] Hedlund lol)
I like [name]Emmett[/name], but it’s too twilight for me, and he’ll probably get called [name]Em[/name] which to me is a girls’ nn. [name]Elliott[/name] I like too, but again, the girls are taking over it.
Girls ought to stick to their own gender names! Making it even harder on me to get boys’ names I like. lol.
I have always loved the name [name]Everett[/name]… I don’t know why though, just something about the way it sounds I guess.
[name]Even[/name] though this name ends in “-et”, I still love the name [name]Garnet[/name], partly because it’s a type of gem.
Truett’s a nice name as well.
[name]Emmet[/name]. I prefer [name]Geraint[/name], [name]Gareth[/name], and [name]Gawain[/name] to [name]Garrett[/name]. And I prefer [name]Benedict[/name] to [name]Bennet[/name]. Although I do like [name]Elliot[/name] too.
Favorites are [name]Everett[/name] and Avett (the latter, I’ve never actually seen someone use it but I love the Avett Brothers and think it’d be an amazing name)
Thanks, ladies! I think you’ve all hit my favorite ones ([name]Everett[/name], [name]Beckett[/name], [name]Bennett[/name], [name]Elliot[/name], Truett, [name]Abbott[/name], [name]Lovett[/name], etc.).
I’m glad to hear that my beloved [name]Everett[/name] (and [name]Beckett[/name], and [name]Bennett[/name]) are all so well-loved by others!
